It seems that the elderly and disabled aren't welcome here - the food was good, although we had quite a wait even though there were very few people in but the staff seemed, at best, disinterested and at worst, downright rude! After our meal, I asked where the toilets were - I am very obviously disabled and can only walk with the aid of a walker - and was told that they were upstairs. I said that I wasn't able to get up the stairs, whereupon the female member of staff remarked, with a smirk, that there was a bucket out in the yard and maybe I would like to use that! She may have thought she was joking, but I was offended and embarrassed and she evidently thought that my disability was amusing. I got a cursory apology which was grudgingly given, and my daughter complained to another member of staff about the attitude - her reply was 'well, it wasn't me that said that' - the other girl admitted it was her and said, in an accusatory tone, 'I apologised!' - we most certainly will never be visiting this place again, and will be raising it with the staff in the Lancaster branch to take this further - this is certainly no way to treat a customer!
