I did all the measurements myself, and Dustin walked me through how much overage to get. Then I decided we should run the flooring on the diagonal. Helped me with the % increase in order to do that. He even walked us through how to install it ourselves. Not only did they ship paper instructions on the product and installation, but Dustin was always there for a phone call if we got stuck or had any questions. Best customer service to date!!!! :) On top of fantastic customer service, they offer payment plans. (Also, if your product goes on sale at any point during your payment plan period, you get the sale price, and payments adjusted). Although he was nice enough to give us a great deal anyways. As for the flooring; we have had it fully installed now (entire main floor-bedrooms, living room, dining room, entrances, and kitchen!) since beginning of May. Our 90lb dog has done power take-offs, skidded around corners, and is daily running down the hallway. Not a scratch yet!!!!!!! And I might mention, we are very dog friendly; on occasion there may be 3-4 100lb dogs running around our house. NOT A SCRATCH! :) :) By the way, we get compliments on our beautiful floors all the time :D As for the kitchen, our dishwasher did leak a couple months ago. Huge puddle of water right there in the kitchen. Cleaned it up, boards were....not quite right. Put salt over the seams for 24 hours. Within a day or two, floor is back to perfect! Flooring is so hard, water doesn't absorb right away. Even the snow our dogs bring in (what is stuck to fur that we can't towel off fully) has not harmed the floor at all. One last fantastic thing about this flooring, we got fossilized marble pattern. Pattern is throughout entire board! Excellent quality, as well as, these floors can be sanded or refinished, as the pattern is the entire board; not just the surface as many companies are now doing. Since their floors are such excellent quality, they are my go to bamboo product place :)
