Had we known that we would've never bought a house here. The pool was supposed to be done right now (summer 2020) I am being upset! Mattamy is THE worst!!! They are using COVID-19 as an excuse but yet they continue to build house after house and profit while the residents suffer. As a real estate…read moreagent, I referred a customer to this neighborhood because of the beauty in the property in comparison for the houses in that price near by. However!!!!! A house containing four cars, and therefore containing a driveway suitable for only four cars, is NOT large enough. You WILL get a green STICKER on you car. Not a paper warning. But a green STICKER on your car as the initial warning that you are parked INAPPROPRIATELY. The inappropriate parking could simply defined as parking on the correct side of the road, directly outside of the owners driveway. I caution any future buyer that they are allowed only the maximum of four people (taking up 100% of the garage and driveway). Or else, they may suffer getting multiple tickets and towing threats. Not to mention the inconvenience of the intersection that contains no light. *WARNING* You will sit outside of the neighborhood 30mins-1hr before you need to leave. And THEN, you will not be able to enter the neighborhood until you have sat in the turn lane (bc they lack a light that mediates traffic) for at least 15 minutes. That is after you have gotten off the exit of 9B to which it should only take you 2-3 minutes to get to the neighborhood from this exit. Upon getting over these complaints that could seem minor. The day to day experience of this, as well as receiving incorrect parking STICKERS ON THE WINDOW OF YOUR CAR, that can only be removed by goo gone, have drawn the last straw for me. I have left the house for professional meetings/business and been surprised by this bright green, difficult to remove sticker attached to my driver window. This seems illegal and inappropriate. I advise anyone who chooses to live here to be cautioned that if they desire more then 4 cars(supposing they can fit the maximum amount of cars possible), they are subject to car vandalation or removal. Just wrong. I've tried to address my concerns to the HOA president and received nothing but aggressive, defensive behavior from her. Be warned.

The design center was very easy to find, it's on the right of the building when we entered. The…read morefront lobby is nicely decorated ad the whole office is very open with 2 samples of the bathroom and one kitchen. All of the samples are pretty straightforward and easy to pick from since everything is well organized. Deb was our assistant and she was very helpful with our designing process. Therefore, we only spent the total of two hours instead of four deciding on which color cabinet or carpet to go with. We had a budget to stick to so we didn't need to explore that many upgraded options. Although, we felt like the office was a little unprepared when we got there because we had to wait for Deb to printout the documents, which took a bit of our time. Also, there was no one greeting us when we walked in so we just stood around for 15 minutes. There's a coffee machine and some snacks as well as water in the lobby, which I had to get to myself since I was thirsty, but our assistant didn't offer it to us. So that's lacking on customer service as well. I'm just glad this is done and over with, now I'm excited to move in our new home soon.
