The wine list was thorough, but not overwhelming. My wife loved Tignello ( which is a Merlot and cabernet blend) and Moltipulciano D'abruzza . He recommended the latter as being local and not a blend. It was a wonderful wine.
The food was Fabulous! this is a resort city and filled with restaurants serving Pizza, Pasta etc. If this is what you want, go elsewhere as this restaurant is very creative.
They started us with a small taster, a soup which I think was roasted tomato soup with and perhaps some other flavorings, thick ands smooth and tasty. my wife started with their home made Pate and I had the Braseola. Both were excellent. My scallops were served on a bed of thinly sliced pears surrounded by a mild punkin sauce/puree. my wife had shrimp over white polenta with a black truffle sauce...awesome.
The desert menu was the most creative and unusual I I've seen I chose the 1st item, the Mrs the fourth. It was a wow! We both went back to our hotel very happy.
