The office is small and you can hear every thing going on in every room, but I like eavesdropping ;-) When you get your teeth cleaned, they have a TV on the ceiling so you can zone out. I use Dr. Choi and think he's great. I once used the other dentist for an emergency cap replacement and she was also stellar. They worked to squeeze me in quickly which I appreciated. Highly recommended!

Amy, who…read morerefers to herself as a business manager (and seems to act as though she is a dentist), caused me to lose my yearly insurance credit due to her inability to properly do her job. The staff were extremely rude, and when I raised my concerns, there was no response or action from Dr. Fasel. I can only assume she supports the behavior of her staff. As a result of Amy's conduct and the overall rude treatment, I decided to switch dentists.

However, recently, I had an amazingly positive experience receiving treatment from Dr. Stepanian at Reach Clinic. I needed 4 fillings, three of them in difficult to access locations. Dr. Stepanian did an amazing job of helping me to be comfortable with minimal pain, while working confidently and efficiently with her assistant to get the job done efficiently and with care and attention. I felt the knowledge, strength and experience in her hands as she worked on fixing my teeth. Thank you to Dr. Stepanian, her assistant, and the Reach Dental Clinic team for making my experience smooth and even pleasant! I never thought I would say that about a visit to the dentist. I cannot recommend Dr. Stepanian highly enough.

Upon my insisting to speak to the dentist who did the extraction they called him after arguing with me for a while. The dentist corrected the charge, however the receptionist still billed the wrong charge to my insurance, and only after me contacting my insurance providers and me sending them the printed proofs of this the insurance company corrected the charges. After experiencing this, I checked the history of my billings, only to find that they did same thing in 2023. In short - they are cheats.

That said, I would like to commend Dr Hua. He has been my dentist for the last few years, and while I expect that I will never again find a dentist as cheap as my previous one, I haven't felt that Dr Hua or Brentwood Dental has over-charged me in any of my visits. I don't carry any dental insurance, so I must admit that I do tend to only visit the dentist only when I can no longer avoid it. Most recently, I visited Dr Hua for the extraction of two wisdom teeth. The initial consultation included a 3d x-ray and a very clear explanation of what was needing to happen, and the range of what it would cost. One of them had disintegrated and I knew that I could not prolong dealing with them any longer. The procedure took under an hour and I wasn't even aware that Dr Hua was wrapping up, he was that smooth. It was as painless as can be expected for local anesthetic, I have no doubts about the quality of work and, happily, came in at the low end of the cost estimation. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Brentwood Dental, assuming that all the dentists there are of equal quality to Dr Hua.

I shared that I had a commitment after and could not stay later and they did not provide great advice about what treatment was still best to be done and what could be cut to finish on time. So I opted to skip the X-rays since I have no dental pain and am well past the age of needing braces. I then got guilt-tripped for not getting the X-ray. The scaling was super painful - more painful than any other I have experienced in 40 years. The hygienist repeatedly blamed me for not being able to treat me without the X-ray then left me in the room for 5 minutes before anyone came and talked to me. I ended up leaving halfway through the appointment. Total waste of time and very traumatizing for someone that had never had an issue with dentist appointments before.
