When Dr. Johnson said he could get it to where I could read the bottom line on the eye chart I didn't believe him. I've had glasses since I was five years old and I have never been able to do that before. I was shocked when after a few adjustments I could read the bottom line! If you need an optometrist then I highly suggest going here.

They legit sat there for an hour without a word, until we went up to the counter with our selected frames. They never fitted them to us & didn't go over options, just put in what we had before. The hubs had to tell them what yo change & the gal just seemed to be inconvenienced by our presence. It was 930am, so, not like we were keeping them from lunch or making them stay late. I'll likely just get my script & buy elsewhere next time.

That said, this (my 2nd annual) exam did feel rushed. Once I had my new script, nobody bothered assist with glasses. I was just left to go through the inventory, with no prices listed & with no knowledge of what my insurance would cover. Previously, I was told what my coverage allowed to be able to select from those fully covered or choose something else. Also, once I'd picked a couple of potential pair, I just stood there holding them for a ling time. Eventually, O went up and asked to have them priced. This was all done from behind the main desk & not at the usual desks in the selection area. It seemed like I was bothering them by being there. I did select a pair and my options. There was no guidance on what options were available. Apparently, I was expected to just know what they offered & what I wanted. It just seemed weird & not like the last visit I'd had.

It took over an hour to order glasses that I had a prescription for because of their computer system. A sale that was supposed to be available until 6/7/2017 was removed from the system on 6/6/2017. After trying unsuccessfully to apply it, they called their helpdesk. The "tech" walked them through the same steps they already tried. Eventually (an hour later) they figured out that the coupon was removed from the system early and were able to work something different out on the computer to get me the sale. The final nail in the coffin: when I asked to pay for expedited shipping, the staff ran into more problems with the ordering system. Since I have regular headaches from eye strain, I wanted to receive them asap. Because I was already 30 minutes late for work, I settled for standard shipping. Bottom line: Despite their friendly staff, placing an order wasn't quick or painless. Instead, it took 60 minutes and I wasn't even able to pay for quicker shipping. I've had smoother experiences ordering from Walmart.

The doctor took time to show me pictures of my eyes and explain what I was seeing. Got both eyeglasses and contact lens prescriptions at the end of the appointment. Highly recommend Vision Source!

So I go to Walmart to replace the glasses. I was not allowed to go into Vision Center. The workers said it was because too many people were in the store. The worker then told my sixteen year old to come get my credit card to pay for the glasses. I said I don't have a credit card I'm paying cash. So she yelled it's 136 dollars from the til. If my daughter didn't need replacement glasses I would have left. The service was terrible.
