This gem of a dance studio nestled in a small shopping mall is one fabulous find. Bryan and Jessica welcome you in as if you were old friends and immediately put you at ease. It doesn't matter whether you are a seasoned dancer, a complete beginner or looking for help with a 'first dance'. They have a class for your ability and you never feel like the 'odd one out' as everything is geared around you as the learner. The classes are fun and the private lessons help reinforce knowledge gained and improve on technique and styling. They cover all styles of ballroom and latin dancing and you will certainly find your favorites - or like me love them all! If you are nervous about learning to dance, you think you have two left feet - Bryan and Jessica will help you overcome your fears and anxiety. They are awesome instructors who really know their stuff and help with more than just dancing (e.g.posture/stretching etc..). The studio has a real friendly feel and you certainly will not feel alone. From someone who has moved to the US and was looking to meet people at the same time as learn to dance, this has been the right place for me. The fact my husband now dances (he was very much a 'I'm not dancing' person) and we have just competed in our first competition is tantamount to Jessica and Bryan showing him that 'he can dance'. I always wished I could glide across a dance floor like Cinderella at the ball. I may look more like the fairy godmother, but now I can glide and turn and even swing my hips to a rumba or a salsa. Brian and Jessica are great teachers and every time I go to a lesson I learn something new . They are excellent at looking at you and seeing what you need - it's like having your own Dancing With The Stars - and you're the Star! It is amazing how these two can show you how to dance correctly without overwhelming you. My husband and I have learned a lot, gained confidence and a bonus perk, have met some wonderful people. We recently visited to try out some classes and it was so much fun! We've been dancing before so we tried to take private lessons this time. Our teacher was Bryan and we learned so much in such a short time period. I would definitely try going again and invite my friends! What an amazing experience this has been and continues to be. The environment is very friendly and welcoming. The instruction is very informative and fun at the same time. Compliments to the owners Jessica and Bryan, and the instructors Jose, Daryl, Halee, and Jasmyn. They each offer their own unique style and we have very much enjoyed learning from all of them. I can't say enough good things about Arthur Murray Sarasota and Jessica and Bryan the owners and teachers. First of all dancing here is fun!Not only am I learning steps but more importantly techniques and styling to make me a better dancer and dance partner. I am also learning about poise and posture when I am not dancing. At 68;years old I do have some physical issues ( knees, shoulder) but learning proper posture and techniques make them a non issue. I am having so much fun because there are dance parties, practice sessions, and Arthur Murray events outside of this studio to participate in. read more

The very best place to learn to ballroom dance. I have been with this studio almost from when they opened their doors. Bryan and Jessica , the owners and teachers make learning so much fun. Their staff are excellent and well trained as well. There is individual lessons, as well as group classes and dance parties.
