She came back and was frustrated with me for having my husband assist me with the paperwork we needed. He's active duty military overseas and I was with our five month old child, so I needed his help with some aspects of the paperwork. She told me that I don't need my husband to help me and she does everything herself and doesn't rely on a man. Then she refused to help us saying it went against PA's requirements despite the insurance company assuring us and her everything was in order. She began raising her voice at both me and my husband and then also raised her voice with insurance company and hung up on them and threw the phone across the counter, complaining to other people in line that she didn't want to deal with difficult people. The other woman and her were both bad mouthing customers as they left the shop. I highly advise you to use another business, because what should have been fifteen minutes took an hour and we were disrespected and yelled at the whole time. The owners' response to my husband was that was when you get a group of women together there will inevitably be an issue

My new insurance broker cancelled my previous insurance policy with Kevin Bruce (my previous…read morebroker) so I did not have to do any work. A few minutes after my new broker faxed over my signed cancellation letter, Kevin called my cell phone and left a very disturbing, unprofessional voice mail. He demanded to know why I was canceling my policy with him because he "never heard me discuss with him that I was unhappy with my insurance". I called Kevin back to confirm that yes, it is my signature on the cancellation page and that my policy with him should be terminated immediately. Kevin then made fun of my new agent on the phone with me by saying "how long has this new agent been practicing? He certainly seems new at this". Kevin then proceeded to tell me that I will need to pay a $50 cancellation fee. After hearing of my wonderful conversation with Kevin, my new broker sent my cancellation letter directly to the insurance company. The insurance company ensured that I would not accrue a cancellation fee and terminated my policy right then without question. Please think twice before considering choosing Kevin as your insurance broker. I would not want you to suffer through the same verbal harassment I have received from him.

I do check competitors annually. And with the pot hole damage and fender bang to miss a deer, the response was super quick and I hadn't even realized that a rental car was included when the car was in for service--the fender damage required a few days stay. And none of it affected our rates. I would absolutely recommend them!

As a former 30-year customer, my advice is simple: run--don't walk--away from Allstate…read more Over three decades, I filed only a handful of minor claims. Two were handled appropriately, but one was an absolute mess. The adjuster was consistently unprepared, late, unresponsive, and unable to answer basic questions. At one point, I was quoted hundreds of dollars for a repair I knew cost less than $20 at a hardware store, justified only by "that's what the system, Xactimate, says." That experience alone raised serious concerns about how a major claim would be handled. Unfortunately, I eventually found out. After a winter storm, I noticed a small water stain on my ceiling. Upon inspection, it was clear there was a significant moisture issue in the attic--every sheet of roof plywood was wet. Despite this, Allstate determined it was not a "new issue" and denied coverage, leaving me responsible for a full roof replacement costing over $16,000. For context: I've lived in this home for 20 years, the roof was only 13 years old, and there had never be
