He was reluctant to provide advice on paint colors, but it was clear we didn't like the color I picked out for my living room. After some deliberation, a new color was picked and his team repainted the living room at no extra charge. Another important detail is that I'm pretty handy myself, and most contractors I've dealt with were generally dismissive of women who know a thing or two about home repairs, tools, and the work it entails. Not Devis. He and his partners were great - they listened, considered my input, and I never felt dismissed in any way. The work took a bit longer than expected due to material shortage but the end result was beautiful. I'm absolutely going to use QD for my kitchen renovation soon. This is the second project performed by owner John Markowski and his partner Bob. We purchased Harvey Windows from Curtis Lumber which John did all the measuring and ordering; including some upgrades. They removed the siding to add flashing since flashing had not been installed when the house was built in 1992. They also built and painted the casings, aprons, and sills. Their craftmanship was outstanding. John gave us recommendations as to where to purchase new shutters that he hung as well. Both John and Bob are very trustworthy which was important since they were in almost every part of our home. They cleaned inside and outside at the end of each day. John estimated ten days to complete and they finished in nine. The final cost was almost the same amount as the quote we received from a local Windows & Doors company. I would not hesitate to hire Dream Builders & Remodeling in the future.

I'm reviewing Dream Builders & Remodeling separately because of how pleased we are with the outstanding work they performed. Owner John and his assistant demonstrated exceptional skills whether working with tiling, plumbing, or woodworking. Because we needed extensive electrical work to be done John arranged for a subcontractor to do that work. John made some suggestions early on in our project that not only addressed the aesthetics of a room but also improved its functioning. He and his assistant always arrived to work at the scheduled time and put in a full day's work. They made every effort to protect the areas they needed to pass through by using floor and stair coverings. They were very pleasant and courteous individuals who respected our home and did not blast radios or swear while working. We were so pleased with the quality of their work that during a period of downtime while we waited for a cabinet to replace one that had arrived damaged, we entered a direct contract with John to upgrade the trim around the windows of three bedrooms and to paint the walls and ceilings of those bedrooms. There is no doubt that we will be contacting John at Dream Builders & Remodeling again when we identify another project to be undertaken.

Leaks, flooring issues, things not done before move in that were not noticed until after we moved in. Since we moved in our BRAND NEW tankless hot water tank broke 5 times. Pipe issues which I don't even have enough room to go into here, damaged upgraded kitchen cabinets from before we moved in that we are still waiting to have replaced 8 months later. HOA Fees are higher than what they will quote you but you won't know until you go to make your first payment. The owner will call you and tell you don't email him about your problems even though he calls the shots and is the owner of the company and you are just desperate to get stuff fixed so you can live in your new home peacefully. All of our issues are under warranty which makes it even more unacceptable in the way they handle it or make you send repeated requests for things to be finished which should have been done before we moved in or still need to be fixed.
