I love, love their bikfteki and pommes. The meat is spiced well and you can taste the smokiness of the grill. The cheese inside the meat is soft and delicious. I can recommend the Pflugteller: for about EUR13, you get a side salad, a bowl of Pommes (it seems like every entree comes with a side of Pommes?), and then three kinds of meat with a big pile of onions and some Tzatziki and bread on the side. Why is it fun? They always seem to be one server short for the number of tables, and if you go on a Friday or Saturday night (it fills up, so be warned) the poor people are running back and forth and/or shouting orders into the kitchen, which, as they use a nice open grill (behind a window) to cook everything, looks like it could burn down at any moment! (Fortunately the volunteer fire department is right across the street.) It's easy to get to (take the 22 tram to the Rathaus stop) and the prices are fine. I've skipped lunch the next day after having dinner there as the portions are so big. Did I mention it's all about the meat?
