History
Established in 1986.
"We started business in Minnesota as a custom manufacturer of fine gold and platinum jewelry, after leaving the family business in California. After fifteen years selling to better independent jewelers from Hawaii to Maine, we opened our own Gallery and Studio in downtown Plymouth."
Owners Stuart and Ellie Adelman have a combined 63 years of personal experience in the jewelry business. They did not buy it, they built it.
"We generally work by appointment for custom designs, however we welcome visitors anytime."
Meet the Business Owner: Stuart J.
Stuart is a fourth generation artist, from a family of mostly painters. Somehow, the drawing gene did not get passed to him, however the sculpting gene is very strong! He has an instinctive eye for design, and an intuitive sense when working with clients on a custom piece of jewelry.
He carved his first wax when he was just 15 years old. When he cast it in metal, he was hooked! That was over 40 years ago.
He has been involved in many jewelry industry organizations including The Jewelers Board of Trade, Jewelers of America, The Minnesota Jewelers Association, The Jewelers Security Alliance, and The Gemological Institute of America, as well as serving as Vice President, and President of the Contemporary Jewelry Design Group. He has been awarded numerous design awards, and has a patent in the U.S. and Canada for a gem setting technique he calls a Piercette(r).
Stuart continually pushes the design envelope, and is an expert at problem solving. He loves making jewelry!
