New River Fine Art opened in 1998 and they specialize in 20th Century, Master, Pop, and Contemporary art in paintings, sculpture, and glass. Lisa Burgess, the President of New River Fine Arts was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis in 2020 to a four-year term on the Florida Council for Arts & Culture which allowed her to support arts and culture on a state wide level. Burgess is also a member of Funding Arts Broward, on the Director's Circle for the Nova Southeastern University Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale, and is a former committee member of the Symphony of the Americas. The gallery is not only used to display art for sale but also to host cultural and educational experiences. The gallery displays just a fraction of the art collection. New River Fine Art sells the art of more than 40 artists including Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, and many others including emerging artists. You can see their extensive selection of art in their gallery book or on their website. Artwork costs in the thousands. The current exhibition is Keep Smiling, Artworks by Mr. Brainwash. Artist Thierry Guetta, also known as Mr. Brainwash is a French born, Los Angeles based street artist. He is thought to be a protege of Bansky whose style and concepts he emulates. You can see Bansky's Girl with a Balloon used in Mr. Brainwash's art. Mr. Brainwash has exhibited his work at Art Basel in Miami several times as well as in many other art exhibitions. He has described himself as being Banksy's greatest work of art. Check out this interesting artwork in the gallery until December 17th and follow New River Fine Art on Instagram to keep up with the latest exhibitions.

She is now 16 and she has had a relationship with YAA from the first time she attended a bithday party at 3 to this summer when she was a volunteer for summer camp, specialty camp. She has attended Saturday digital camps, specialty camp (until she aged out) and full time camp. We have watched the museum struggle during Covid when they were forced to find a new location. Under the leadership of their new CEO, we have witnessed such resilience. My daughter has participated in 3 recycling fashion shows, participated in their festival of the arts (where kids can share & sell their art), and so far for her high school career she has been a volunteer for summer camp. Through her participation in the Recycling Fashion Show she has been able to be part of an exhibition at Art Serve - sharing the display space with adult artists. She was able to paint a guitar to be auctioned for a large fundraiser for the Ann Storck center and she has been able to utilize 2 scholarships through the Florida Fashion Institue to enhance her career aspirations. My daughter has met amazing mentors and has had a positive experience at Young at Art. She has seen the museum grow and continue to serve to community even with facing challenges. Young at Art has meant a lot to our family. Yes, they look smaller but what they have provided to the community and our family is HUGE!

What a wonderful museum for children to explore, create, and learn! Young At Art is an immersive,…read morehands-on museum with a variety of interactive exhibits, art activities, and creative play spaces that encourage learning through imagination and exploration. The museum is reasonably priced and a great size. While it's not huge, there's plenty to keep children engaged. We've been visiting every two to three months for the past two years, and it's been fun seeing some of the recent upgrades they've made. The space is open and thoughtfully divided into different themed areas. Kids can enjoy a slide, a music and movement section, a grocery store and kitchen play area, a large swing, a few simple video games, painting stations, and several daily craft activities. They've also recently added a pretend garden where children can "plant" flowers, which is such a cute interactive feature. There are playful activities scattered throughout the museum, so there's always something new to discover. Everything is designed to encourage creativity, hands-on learning, and imaginative play. My four-year-old nephew absolutely loves coming here, and we've been bringing him since he was two years old. It's one of our favorite local outings. One thing I also appreciate is that it never feels overly crowded, although we usually visit during the week. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, and they're especially helpful in the craft areas, where they're always encouraging and willing to assist the kids with their projects. Overall, I highly recommend Young At Art for families with young children. It's a fun, creative, and educational experience that keeps us coming back again and again.

What I…read morefound disappointing was being told one thing, relying on that information, and then being presented with something different at checkout. Had the communication been clear and consistent, I may very well have completed the purchase. I have been shopping at HomeSense and appreciate the unique items the store carries, which is why it was especially disappointing to walk away from an $800 sale over what ultimately felt like a customer-service and communication issue. I would appreciate having this experience reviewed, particularly the inconsistent information provided by management and the way the situation was handled. My hope is that this can be addressed so other customers do not have a similar experience.
