The entrance to the Cielo Farms had white double barnyard doors and a high squared archway bearing the Cielo Farms name which was impressive but common in Southwest Ranches. Drove down the long black top road with beautiful white dual pagoda light fixtures mounted on cast aluminum posts on both sides. There was a kids event going on at the center of the nursery with a bunch of vehicles parked in the vacant grassy field. The plant nursery was strictly on an appointment basis only. This nursery rents out the 5 acre area for venues.

Guests celebrate inside a living, flowering farm while enjoying the comfort and elegance of a professionally designed venue. Our White Barn features custom architectural lighting fixtures, fully air-conditioned restrooms, dual bar areas, and a prep kitchen for catering and service teams. The structure is fully insulated for sound, allowing music, speeches, and celebrations to feel intimate and controlled without disturbing the surrounding gardens or neighboring properties. Unlike hotels or ballrooms, our venue is surrounded by mature bougainvillea, tropical gardens, and agricultural displays grown on the property, creating natural beauty that cannot be replicated with rented décor. Guests move seamlessly between the flowering gardens outdoors and the refined comfort of the White Barn inside. This rare combination of working nursery, botanical estate, and purpose-built event barn makes Cielo Farms truly one of a kind — a place where Florida agriculture, luxury design, and unforgettable celebrations come together in one private, breathtaking setting.

Sharing my wedding nightmare experience at Club 19…read more I recently held my wedding at Club 19 and, unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience, largely due to mismanagement by Susan, the venue manager. Initially, we scheduled our ceremony for 6 pm, but four months before the wedding, we decided to start at 7:30 pm to catch the sunset. Susan assured us this change was fine, as long as we ended by midnight, per the city ordinance. Her only concern was if we start late, we won't be able to utilize the hours that we booked because we need to end the party at 12mn. On the day of the wedding, however, Susan told our guests that the party needed to end at 11:30 pm, and extending until midnight would incur extra charges. This was highly inappropriate and should have been addressed with us directly. After a stressful conversation, she reluctantly agreed to our original plan, making it seem as if we were at fault. Additionally, the setup timing was mismanaged. We were initially told setup could begin at 9 am, but just days before the event, Susan informed us that we needed to choose between an indoor or outdoor ceremony because the weather's not been that great, with the setup starting at 4:30 pm. On the day, the outdoor setup didn't begin until after 5-ish pm, causing our decorator to rush and resulting in a chaotic scene, including golfers present and swinging during our ceremony despite assurances that the venue would be closed for our event. We were worried of the casualties it could cause. Especially my guests. So we couldn't really concentrate on the wedding. Also, the time delay meant we missed essential daylight and drone shots, and our photographers had to take nighttime photos during dinner, compromising both the quality of our photos and our time with guests. We didn't have daylight shots. We also didn't have pictures with the guests. Such a nightmare. These significant disruptions and miscommunications resulted in us missing key moments and photo opportunities, leaving us stressed and disappointed. While the food quality was good, the overall management of our event was subpar. We had high expectations for our wedding at Club 19, and these were not met. I hope future couples do not have to endure the same stress and disappointment on their special day. I emailed Susan after the wedding, and all she did was apologize. Be careful on booking at Club19.

When you arrive at the Charles F. Dodge City Center and see the huge yellow structures in the front, The Frank Art Gallery is located on the opposite side. It's a small but beautiful and modern space. They change out their art exhibits regularly. Check out their website for different classes for all ages. We attend the monthly Teen Art Club and it's only $5. So crazy how inexpensive. But something different and fun. Highly recommended. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. The space is gorgeous. Love the modern vibe!
