From Matt to Dana, Alexander Insurance Agency offers unmatched brokerage services in the area…read more I have used them for Auto Insurance since I was a teenager. When I bought my first house with my husband back in 2011, we switched to a multi-policy for Home and (3 vehicle) Auto Insurance. When we became out-of-state landlords in 2013, she helped us through the tiny changes required when switching to a dwelling-only policy. And for the one car accident we were involved with years ago, she also counseled us through this hellish process too! Through it all... seamless transactions, thorough documentation, and the utmost willingness to educate me along the way. And may I even be unprofessional here and say prompt AF!? I thought I was fast!! But here's the thing, Dana's service didn't stop with my Missouri policies. While she couldn't insure my Renter's Insurance policies in the other states I've lived, she absolutely still held my hand when I ran into issues with other insurance agencies in CO, NY, and CA. Sometimes all it takes to solve a problem is a bit of guided expertise! And for 8+ years while living on the road, that's what she did! So you better believe when we made the abrupt decision to move home to Lake Saint Louis, Dana was our first call to discuss our new Home Insurance policy. And even after we closed, we had to make a quick change to expand coverage into an Auto policy within our first week, and what a breeze!! I just can't say enough!

What sort of exciting things could there be to say about an insurance agent? I mean, he's a nice…read moreguy and all, but it's not like he sets the premiums or anything. I work in insurance as well (on the actuarial end of things) and when I told him that, he turned the monitor on his computer where I could see it, so I could watch my auto insurance premium change as he put in all of my information. I am easily amused, so I really enjoyed this. I thought this was a pleasant and thoughtful gesture on his part. And, to top it all off, he didn't try to sell me expensive products I didn't need, and he got all of my paperwork put together quickly and correctly. There's a lot to be said for getting it right the first time.

I can't recommend Dan at State Farm Insurance enough! He is hands down the most helpful insurance…read moreagent I've ever dealt with. I started out with State Farm as a customer in 2013, and even after I left for what I thought were better options in 2022, Dan kept in touch with me yearly to see if I was happy and if he could assist me. If he is unable to beat my current rate, he tells me so--what integrity! He called me this year, and voila! When I decided to switch back, it felt like coming home. The moment I called, Mindy, the receptionist, was genuinely happy to hear my voice--it's clear that they treat their clients like family. Dan's honesty and transparency are refreshing; he's always upfront about everything and actively seeks the best rates and coverage for me every year. He even signed my children up for Steer Clear classes, which helped me get a lower rate on my insurance--if you have children on your policy, you know how expensive rates can be! I've even recommended Dan to my son and his family, and they are just as thrilled with his service as I am. If you're looking for an insurance agent who genuinely cares about his clients and prioritizes their best interests, call him up at 636-227-2010--you won't regret it!

However, I told the agent "Dan" that the 2003 Honda was the commute car and the 2015 BMW 750 was the pleasure car. "Dan" decided to make the BMW the commute car which triggered an higher rate as that car is obviously more expensive. Upon telling "Dan" this he refused to correct and compensate their willful lack of integrity. As a matter of fact I requested to speak to the owner and he was too busy to bother to talk to me. All "Dan" did was say that every protocol was followed. However, "Dan" refused to say why he intentionally chose the more expensive car as the commuter. I will be canceling both Auto and Homeowners with this company. No INTEGRITY AND NO BUSINESS ETHICS. STAY AWAY AND DON'T ALLOW THEIR LACK OF MORALS IMPACT ANYONE ELSE!!!
