An unsophisticated, relaxing, art-filled place perfect for dates, solo diners, and art enthusiasts. This branch almost echoes the rustic vibe of the one at Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman.
There were no other people when we arrived at the café at 8:30 in the evening, so the place was quiet. They could have used a little ambient music to flush out the unnecessary sound from their kitchen. Also, there were some mosquitoes at the table where we were sitted, so a pest control would have been helpful.
On our table:
Signature Beef Tapa
Shrimp Pasta Aligue
Dark Chocolate Molten Lava
Their Signature Beef Tapa was good, but they could have served it warm so it could be tastier. The Shrimp Pasta Aligue's serving was big enough to serve two people and we could taste the essence of its crab and shrimp paste. For the finale, the Dark Chocolate Molten Lava was perfect to fill in our sweetness craving.
The service was fast. All our requests were accommodated properly. Overall, it was a great dining experience but there were areas that would need to be improved. read more
