Once I arrived for the day of my appointment I was greeted by, not only the young lady I assume I spoke with a few days earlier, but also the piercer. The shop was clean and everyone was so friendly! After my information was collected, I chose my jewelry and away we went to the back room. The gentleman that pierced my ears first marked them and had me look to make sure I like where the holes would be. I was hesitant and ultimately said I trusted him. Instead of just moving forward with piercing, he asked me what my hesitation was. I appreciated that he took the time to listen to my concerns. He talked to me through the whole process and was very thorough when explaining aftercare- as well as provided me with a pamphlet explaining everything too! The whole experience was pleasant and everyone was extremely professional. I don't see myself getting anymore piercings BUT if I did, I would go to Hammer's again- and I recommend this shop to my friends and family!

We decided on Artistic Expressions because of the great Yelp reviews from other customers. We brought in photos of tattoos that inspired what we'd like to get. The gentleman who helped us with the designs did a great job advising us on size and placement. It has been a couple months since I got my USMC spouse tattoo, and I love it! I chose the area between my inner elbow and underarm for my tattoo. Some say this is a particularly rough area. Brian was patient, encouraging and the tattoo was finished before I felt like I couldn't continue. I have gotten some great feedback on my tattoo. I love it.
