The staff have been so lovely and the food has been so delicious, no matter what I order. There's also many options and they even have things like vegan / gluten-free options. An important note - they have outdoor seating and allow well-behaved animals, so it's not uncommon to see a little pupsicle sitting under the table by its owner, looking at the humans. I don't know about you, but it's a definite plus for me.

We waited nearly 2 hours today for our food and the attitude of the staff, especially the manager, was just unacceptable. We had to serve ourselves to water and there was NO apology for the delay in serving the food. Even the coffees and the drinks took over 30 mins. We appreciate it was Mother's Day and more busy than usual, but if you're going to cater for large gatherings and special occasions, and book to capacity, then make sure you have the staff and capability to adequately service your customers. I will no longer be recommending this cafe to anyone I know! Very disappointing!!! The owner recently responded to the above review on Facebook and this is what they said: Cafe on Cusack: "I'm sorry AGAIN that you feel that way , we had amazing feedback from all other customers today so I'm disappointed you felt the need to highlight AGAIN your experience. I'm not the manager, I'm the owner and we are a family run business that strives at all times to keep all our customers happy and satisfied but sometimes it is an impossible goal. I disagree very strongly with your statement that we are over priced maybe we are if you are comparing us to McDonald's!!" What happened to good old fashion Customer Service!? I strive to support independent and local business whenever I can, especially those in rural and more remote areas. It's just a shame these business owners have no idea on how to treat their customers - especially those that were loyal and frequent customers. I hope the owners learn from this and take a good look at their customer values. I only hope for their sake their service levels improve, otherwise there business will suffer greatly!

Ordered pancake with ice cream and berries and a standard eggs Benedict accompanied by a fruit smoothie and green tea. The food was fresh and tasty and despite being around $40 for 2 persons, i we would recommend this place for a breakfast/lunch visit. Only smaller minus was the fact that my green was a teabag instead of tea leafs as tea should be served. Might just try the dinner at some stage

Witches Chase Cheese had so many delicious varieties of cheese for sale that we stood in the store for about 15 minutes trying to choose just one that we wanted to try! Witches Chase Cheese specialise in hand made cheeses. Gosh they are good! When I went, my partner and I opted for a goats cheese fraiche and some fresh bread (that you can get when you buy the cheese, by the way) and it was just amazing. There are a number of cheese available, many of them award winning, fresh, soft, blue and hard cheeses. Take a look around and ask for a taste to help you choose. At the back they also offer some hardware and other local treats including some interesting looking honey varieties. On site there is also a restaurant, and you can do cheese tours. It's also the site of Mt Tamborine Brewery if you fancy a bit of a drink when you go. It's a lovely location and the staff seem to know what they're doing. Go for a drive and grab some cheese and wine and have a lovely romantic picnic. Inexpensive, romantic and enjoyable. I think we'll be back.

This is the larger one, the other is across the road, and while I poked my head in the door, I didn't get anything. So the pies. Yep, they're pretty good! There's plenty of seating inside and out, with a big verandah surrounding the building, and there appears to be some off street parking out the back. We nabbed one on the street though. Eating in, the pie is brought out on a plate, sauce in a little cup on the side, and if you get chips with gravy, you get fresh chips and a little cup of gravy too. The gravy was delicious, by the way. But this isn't just a pie shop. You can get chicken parma, steaks, breakfasts, there's plenty to eat here, including what looked like a nice selection of desserts. We stopped in on the way to Lamington, it's pretty much last town before you make the climb, so definitely worth a stop and this is a good place to grab a bite to eat. The staff were all pretty friendly too. I wouldn't mind stopping in again sometime and checking out one of the larger meals.

Food was good but some simple improvements could easily raise the rating (serve hot not cold, and season it!). While the facilities are awesome for a private function, they were too fast in closing the bar (even though the host paid to 9:30pm) and the single toilet restrooms had constant lines. Not ideal for a wedding in that regard. But overall was a great experience, despite these set backs.

While most times it has been for breakfast or lunch the food has always been of a great quality, nicely presented and professionally served. The prices are very reasonable and the serving sizes most adequate. The coffee is also consistently of a good standard with plenty of variations to choose from. The decor is okay but could probably do with a bit of attention but overall the place presents as clean and well maintained. The regular staff are very professional and courteous to customers needs and wants. The wait time can be a little slow at times but given the food is consistently good this is not a major problem as I would rather wait a little longer and know that I will be served an appetising meal. So I can recommend this establishment without reservation. I would even say that Sav's is by far the best cafe / food place in Jimboomba and surrounding area. So do yourself a favour and give it a go.
