Meet the Business Owner: Lynda E.
Lynda Edwards is a graduate of the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, where she studied fine arts and developed a lifelong dedication to creative expression. She has also studied abroad and holds certifications in early childhood development and fitness—foundations that inspire her unique, holistic approach to teaching art.
An accomplished, award-winning artist and educator, Lynda founded Art & Asanas to encourage others to discover the joy of painting and the mindfulness found through creative flow. For over 30 years, she has worked as a freelance artist and with children of all ages, nurturing imagination and confidence through art.
Whether painting bold impressionistic landscapes, distinctive portraits, or vibrant still lifes, Lynda brings energy, expertise, and heart to everything she creates—cultivating creativity in our community.
