Their work was absolutely impeccable. Downtown Neiman Marcus, the original source of the frame decades ago, accepted it for repair, promised it would be returned, not quickly, but beautifully remade, and it was. Apparently Downtown Neiman's fourth floor galleries routinely rely on Art Restorations. I consider that a very good sign.

So... For Christmas my mother gave me a cross stitch she's…read morebeen working on called "Innocent Guardian" and I fell in love with it, due to the woodland creatures and nature of it. However, she forgot to add a hanger to the frame, so I had to take care of it myself when I got home from vacation. I guess I'm not very good at these things, as I got a sawtooth hook that came with screws and bought a hammer. Obviously you don't hammer a screw. *face palm* Plus the frame was thicker than I thought..... I was rather bummed and frustrated cause I couldn't wait to get it up! So I called the closest framing store to see how much it would be to get a hook on it, to my surprise Steven, the Gallery Director said "Come on in! I would love to help you free of charge." Which he did... Even though I didn't have to pay, I definitely want to go back and give them my business and you should too!! They even have some amazing art pieces for sale. I was particularly drawn to Talia's work. I can't wait to go back and purchase one of her pieces! I always love to support local businesses and this one is definitely worth the support. This experience made my day more than they probably know :)

Really BAD communication. We had a small kitchen fire, and the insurance company paid to have…read morewall paintings cleaned. When ART of DFW/Cesani Arts came to pick up the artwork for cleaning, I indicated on the paperwork they asked me to sign that everything needed to be back by a certain date, due to some personal commitments. When I called to confirm that everything was coming back a few days before the due date, I was informed that they had a 3-4 month lead time and never got approval for the cleaning. Nobody tried to contact me with that information. In fact, David, the manager who I finally spoke with, said that they would not normally talk with the owner because some insurance companies do not want them talking to the property owners!! This is a terrible policy, as I am the owner of the artwork, not the insurance company. And, the insurance adjuster said that he was never informed of the long lead time nor of cleaning quote that needed approval. Now I have to pay a significant sum to ART of DFW/Cesani for the original pack-out and the return of the artwork, without them having done anything other than a meaningless evaluation. I will say they have been very careful with the handling and placement of the artwork. Needless to say I do not recommend ART of DFW / Cesani Arts.

One booth had clearly done extensive research on the items they were selling, as written on their tags, and I love seeing that. There were items on both ends of the price scale at this mall- lots of French antiques which I feel I don't see as often around here. I like the way it was set up. I'll definitely come again.
