My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Li for various issues, and always have good results:
My husband cracked a small toe - a hairline crack barely perceptible on XRay. "Regular" doc gave him anti-inflammatory and told him to stay off his foot. Well, after three weeks of that, the area was still swollen and I was afraid of long-term ill effects, such as arthritis. I sent him to Art Acupuncture and Dr. Li worked on his toe twice a week for about three weeks and said it would be okay for my husband to continue playing sports. Hubs immediately felt better and continued to go because he felt so good after each session. Dr. Li usually does a combo beginning with twenty minutes of acupuncture followed by acupressure massage.
My husband later went back a couple of times for backaches. Same great results.
For me, I had an unusual ear issue - fluid in the middle ear, no infection, that would not go away for over eight months. Multiple visits to Allopathic docs, including an ENT, did nothing, while the issue got worse to the point of hearing blockage in that ear. I was at my wits end after taking the prescribed antibiotics, then antihistamines, then steroidal nasal spray. I thought I was going to go deaf! I decided to give acupuncture a try out of desperation. Dr. Li saw me twice a week for four or five weeks. Although I believed acupuncture is very useful for soft-tissue problems, I was highly skeptical that it could help my weird issue. But it did, slowly but surely it did. After a session of acupuncture/massage, my ear would crackle and pop! There was something happening there. I felt hopeful and kept going. After all those sessions, I barely noticed any issue, my hearing was back and I didn't feel like I was underwater all the time. I had also developed some tinnitus, which also went away. As you could imagine, I was beyond happy.
Anyway, I highly recommend Art Acupuncture. Dr. Li doesn't speak English very well, and his place is is need of a complete remodel, and he doesn't take insurance - but if you don't mind those things and just want to get some issue solved, you can't go wrong trying Dr. Li. read more
