The lady at concessions was rushing us so it wasn't great customer service. They sell slushes in 2 flavors, red and blue, for $2. I tried the red flavor and it was refreshing, icy and liquidy, just the way I like it, not dry. For $3.50, the pretzel was soft, the cheese had a good texture and taste, and the size was perfect (not overwhelming). It was worth it. Another thing that's good at this concession is the Otis Spunkmeyer Cookies. You get 2 for $1.50, and they are decadent mmm. Pizza is pretty basic and not worth it. The school is easy to find with a clear athletic entrance. Cash and card is accepted for the entrance fee, card is a little more around $8. The gym is large in size, lots of parking but got really packed during the sectional games and was hard to find a parking a spot. Upstairs bleachers has two large fans, we sat up there for a game, and the air from the fan really bothered me, caused my eyes to water badly, I was annoyed.

University High School has been such a wonderful experience for our family! My oldest just…read moregraduated from University, and my twins are now juniors, so we've had the opportunity to experience the school for several years and in so many different ways. From the mentor program and January Term to athletics, clubs, and the incredible sense of community, University has truly been the perfect fit for our kids. They've been encouraged to grow not only academically, but also as individuals, while being surrounded by teachers, coaches, mentors, and classmates who genuinely care about them. The curriculum is challenging and will have them more than prepared for college, but what I appreciate most is that University is about so much more than academics. It gives students opportunities to explore their interests, build confidence, develop meaningful relationships, and become well-rounded young adults. We are so grateful for the experiences, friendships, and memories University has given our children. It has truly been a special part of their high school journey, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to send them there!

They have decent parking, but I was confused which door to enter until I saw people walking in a door. When I entered, I didn't see anyone collecting money for admissions, so I just walked on in. They only had one side for bleachers so all the fans were mixed, and it was a packed crowd. It was a competitive, nail biter game, which makes it exciting. A lot of the fans displayed poor sportsmanship which created bad energy and threw the vibe off. The refs did an ok job calling the game.

Worst experience I ever had as far as education. Your child is much better off being homeschooled…read morethan trying to be "taught" by system of unmotivated teachers who only go to get a paycheck. There definitely are a few teachers more willing and legitimately care for the kids, but they are outnumbered by those who don't and are actually the ones that are not given many classes :-(. There are some awesome administrators and faculty working here and quite a wide range of diversity and culture among students. This school is undermined for the demographics in the area, which is an unfortunate bias. I would send my kids here because they would have so many opportunities to learn a and grow. I wished my suburban schools growing up had these vast degree of IB and AP courses.

This venue was easy to find and had ample parking spots. Cash and card was accepted for admission and concessions, which were comparable to the cost of other high school basketball games. The gym was spacious with plenty of seating and scoreboards on both sides. It was very cold in the visitor bleachers since they're right next to the door. I did appreciate that they offered TGI Friday's potato skin chips, something you don't see at most schools and it brought back memories.

I'm not aware of any restrictions on bag sizes, but they do require you to open your bag. Also, they don't restrict outside food and drinks which I love. I'm not sure how much the entrance fee is for a game as my husband always pays, but they do take card or cash. The concession stand is right after walking through the metal detectors in-front of the main gym. They have an aux gym which is around the corner past the swimming pool. The concession stand takes card or cash and offers a variety of food like hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, Greeks Pizzeria Pizza, chick fil a sandwiches, chips, candy, and drinks. They also sell small cups of ice cream that go for $6. The hot dogs are good. I love that they sell hot Cheetos. Greeks Pizzeria has a location in Beech Grove and I've never been there so I tried the pizza at the game, it was good. The only bad thing was that it wasn't warm. The main gym has ample bleacher space being all around the gym and a separate section for the students. After a while, the bleachers get uncomfortable so we usually bring our stadium seats which make it a whole lot better. The aux gym is smaller so bleacher seating is limited to one side.
