When the phone rang, someone picked up but didn't say a word--instead, I was immediately placed on hold with music. After waiting several minutes, the phone was picked up again, but no one spoke to me. Instead, I could hear two or three ladies speaking to each other in Spanish in the background. I repeatedly said "hello" into the phone, but no one responded. Just as I was about to hang up, one of the ladies suddenly told me she had a quote for driving school, priced at over $400. I explained that I wasn't calling for a quote, but for a different question. The entire interaction felt incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend calling this business unless you absolutely have to. Their customer service left much to be desired.

I stopped by the shop on a whim to check on information about beginners motorcycle classes. Now…read morethat the Florida law has changed, and you have to take a class, I thought I should shop around. I walked in and looked at a few bikes. Angie, who turns out to be the owner, introduced herself and asked if I wanted to sit on the bike I was drooling over. I laughed, and said I needed lessons before I took home a V-Max. She was very enthusiastic, gave me some information, and answered all of my questions. I went home and looked around, and found their prices to be very competitive. I emailed Angie that night and made an appointment for their next available class. I took a Weds/Thurs 16hr course with an instructor named Pam. It was great to be one of only three students! The classroom portion was fun and helpful, but of course, I was there to ride! Pam was great in the classroom, but is a master of the riding course. Her explanations were easy to understand, and her coaching was detailed and motivating. It was cool to see how the tips she gave translated into actual improvements in my abilities. She was training two coach candidates who helped with course setup and assisted with the exercises. They were encouraging, but deferred to Pam for coaching and criticism, which I found to be very professional. I would highly recommend Pam's course to anyone wanting to learn to ride a motorcycle, trike, or scooter. I should also mention that this is a full service shop. They sell new and used bikes and accessories. They have a repair shop including a "bike ambulance" for those of us without trailers. There was a guy under an awning detailing a dresser, and another guy set up with your typical "bike week booth" assortment of accessories. Everyone I talked to was friendly, and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I am definitely looking forward to doing business with them for any of my biking needs!
