Jim is very kind and did an amazing job. Called him regarding an issue with our garage door not working and he discussed with tenants and figured out the springs need to be replaced. He is very honest and reasonable. Came out and fixes the garage door the same day. I highly recommend him. We need more Jim's in this world. Thanks for being so awesome! read more

Arroyo Door was recommended by a friend, who had a garage door installed. I called to get a rough estimate and Jim was lower than the big names/brands around San Luis Obispo. Great value for what we ended up getting. When I was ready, I called him again, he is the owner, and he came out to take dimensions, etc.. Answered all our questions and loved the fact we would get a battery backup to open the door. This is great as we have lost power and it's hard to open the door. I received a quote via email and called to order. He said it would take about 4 weeks but it was less. He called and said the door was in, so made an appointment. Jim called and we made an appointment for installation. He called me to let me know he was 10 minutes out. I was so surprised he was here a little over 2 hours with his brother. He installed a keypad on the outside of the garage. He also setup my husband's car, mine would not work, to open the garage door. I even tried later, so will talk to the car dealer. read more

I had a great experience with Arroyo Door and wanted to share it. Jim came out the same day I called (and on time) and gave me a clear, straightforward estimate. No pressure, no upselling -- just honest information and options. The very next morning, Jim and Steve showed up right on time and installed the new garage door. He worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves, and made sure everything was adjusted perfectly before he left. The door looks great and operates smoothly. They walked me through the features of the new door, made sure everything was adjusted perfectly, and even gave me simple maintenance tips so the door will last longer. Most important were the safety tips shared by Steve! What really surprised me was how affordable the whole project was. I expected a garage door replacement to be a major expense, but Jim gave me a very reasonable quote right on the spot, and there were no hidden fees or last‑minute add‑ons. For the quality of the door, the fast turnaround, and the level of workmanship Steve delivered, the price felt like a great deal. It's rare these days to get this kind of value without cutting corners, and I genuinely appreciated that. It's rare these days to get fast service, good communication, and quality workmanship all at once, but Jim and Steve delivered exactly that. As a homeowner, I really appreciate how easy they made the whole process. I'd gladly use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing garage door work. read more

Jim and Steve were excellent! We had an odd sized garage door spring that snapped and Jim came out within a couple hours to review, and he provided a very reasonable quote. Steve came out the next day and did a great job with the install, less than an hour for both springs. Compared to a competitor that was nearly 4x the price and over a week wait for the springs, couldn't recommend Jim and his team at Arroyo Door more! We'll be using Arroyo Door for all our garage door issues and so should you! read more

Jim and his crew have been fixing my garage door for as long as I've owned the house. I always call him when it needs attention. This last time I called on a holiday, he answered and set up an appointment for the next day. read more

Arrived within a few hours of service request. Promptly replaced the broken spring and diagnosed/fixed the motor/limiter issue all within an hour and a half. He charged $380. A competing well known company gave us a bid earlier in the day for $1100 just to fix the spring and check the rollers, not addressing the motor issue at all - said he'd make it so we could 'manually lift the door'. To 'rebuild' the existing motor and fix the spring/assess the rollers was... wait for it... $3,450! For an all new motor and spring they wanted $4,300! Arroyo Door is the best and the competition the worst! read more

Jim and Steve were great! Jim Fuller was recommended by a neighbor. Jim and his brother replaced a spring and mounting bar on our garage door. The job was done quickly and the price was very good. They thoroughly checked their work and made sure everything worked great when they were finished. Another company I called told me I needed a new garage door. I absolutely recommend Arroyo Door. read more

Jim took my call for service and set my appointment time. Steve called asked if he could come a little earlier since he was done with his previous job. Steve arrived a few minutes later and assured me that he could fix my garage door that looked like a mess. About 40 minutes later my garage door was fully back in working order. The repair price was very reasonable and i was quite satisfied with the work and the price of repair. I highly recommend Arroyo Door. GREAT SERVICE. read more

Great service! Prompt and fair And VERY helpful. They came out to give me an estimate and fixed the immediate problem until I can get a new door installed. I will use them once I'm ready for the new door, but meanwhile it's easier to open. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Arroyo Grande Door was phenomenal! I contacted Jim Fuller, the owner, about our tenant's garage door not closing. The garage had a lot of glassware and inventory for their small business open to the elements. Jim got right over within an hour and secured their property with some items available on his truck. The next day he came and completed the repair with the parts he needed. The job was done quickly and the price was very reasonable. I absolutely recommend this company. read more

The hinges on my old school wooden garage door busted the other day. I spoke with the owner, he ordered the right parts, anticipated a date he could repair the door, and kept me in the loop while awaiting the new hinges. His teammate Steve came out on the morning he anticipated having the hinges in stock. Steve did an excellent job. I would 100% recommend this company. read more

The day before Thanksgiving...BANG! Our garage door came slamming down with a broken spring. Called Arroyo Door. Jim was getting ready to enjoy the long weekend finishing up his last service. Instead he took us in as a last minute service call. He showed up within 30 minutes. Fixed it and we are so grateful! Highly recommend Jim of Arroyo Door! read more

You guys are awesome. Jim took my call in the morning and said either he or Steve would be out at two. On time and Steve did excellent work.

I woke up this morning to find that my German Shepard had broken my garage door sensor. I gave Arroyo Door a call and they were able to send out a tech within an hour to fix it up. A+ service! Price was fair for a last minute request - I would highly recommend! read more

I have purchased two garage doors and had two repair jobs on broken springs at other times, Jim Fuller did them all. We have a house in Pismo Beach. As my wife left to go to the store, something snapped in the opener. I called and spoke to Jim. Even though it was a Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend, he said Steve could be by within the hour. Both Steve and Noah did a great job replacing the opener, putting on a new chain bar, new sensors and two remotes. They were polite and efficient. I highly recommend Arroyo Door. read more

Fast, reliable, on time or early, will definitely call them again when needed for our vacation rental properties along the central coast!

Had them replace an old chain opener that would randomly act weird to a modern belt drive. Day and night. I can't even hear the garage door open anymore. They were prompt and had the whole thing replaced in such a short amount of time. Thank you soooo much. read more

Our garage door would not roll up. One if the wires snapped and I could not even lift it manually. We were carless. I called Arroyo Door and they had Steve come out and save the day. Great service and nice folks. What more could you ask? read more

This is my go to for any garage door problem. They always give you the best service at the best price. The nicest people!

This morning my wife tried to open the garage door and it opened two feet. I called Arroyo Door and they were here just an hour or so later. It was a broken spring that was replaced quickly and at a very reasonable price. Steve, the technician, also set up my wife's car remote; something I was unable to do. If you have garage door issues, this is the place to call. Great people, to boot! read more

This company was excellent to deal with. Jim gave me a fair price on two openers and communicated with me the whole way through the process (on time no less!). Communication is the weakest point with companies these days but AG Door was fantastic. Steve put them in for me and did an excellent and very professional job. This is a top notch company and I would recommend them to anyone. When I replace my actual garage doors, they will be my go-to company. read more

I received excellent service from the guys at Arroyo Door. It was easy to schedule my service and my installer was very kind, professional and thorough. He had a great sense of humor. I have recommended Arroyo Door to my friends! read more

Happy with the work done by Arroyo door. Had a small issue and it was immediately taken care of. Strongly recommend.

We had a little run in with the garage door at the house and arroyo door was prompt with an estimate the next day. They gave us a very reasonable quote and were able to repair the 2 panels the following day. Very professional and prompt! Hopefully we won't need their services again, but I would highly recommend them! read more

The spring on my garage door opener broke, trapping my two cars inside the garage. Good thing I didn't have a plane to catch! A neighbor recommended Arroyo Door. Arroyo Door came out the same day in the early afternoon and finished installing a new spring in less than an hour. The price was very fair and I will be calling them in a few years to replace the spring before it breaks! read more

Sunday evening the spring broke on our center garage door. I got my car out, but not knowing a lot about garage door mechanisms, I was concerned about how long a repair would take, and how much it would cost. Monday I called Arroyo Doors, based on the positive reviews here on Yelp. Now I would like to add yet another good review for this business; my experience was better than perfect. I can explain that: Jim at Arroyo Doors did everything right. I left a message for him on Monday morning and he returned my call within about an hour. He listened patiently to my description of the circumstances, and asked a few good questions. He was willing to give some idea of what it would cost to repair, and promised to do his best to get it done that same day. He did, the door works great, and the very reasonable charge was exactly what he said it would be. Perfect. Better than perfect.... it's something hard to explain but you feel it. It's about a positive attitude, an impression that right away tells you this is a person you can trust; a person you will like. A genuine friendliness that turns a broken garage door into a pleasant experience. That was my experience yesterday with Jim of Arroyo Door. Better than perfect. read more

Great service. Dependable and prompt. Stands by his work. Can't say enough about Jim. Highly recommended

I am beyond pleased with the service! I called because our door would not open. Steve was here within 15 minutes, on a MONDAY! Within minutes he diagnosed the problem, and within an hour of the call, diagnosis and repair, it was all complete within an hour. He was efficient, polite and I highly recommend them! read more

I used him about 20 years ago when one of the door spring broke and he did a thorough repair then so I called him again for my latest problem. This time one of the garage door cables frayed and slipped off its drum causing the top door panel to come off its track and the rest of the door was tweaked. He installed new cables, two new roller hinges, adjusted the spring tension, checked the door opener safety reverse and lubed every moving part. Door is now quiet and easy to operate when the door opener is disconnected. He had the parts on his truck and completed everything in one service call the same day I contacted him. He is the owner and your satisfaction is very important to him. read more
