Responded quickly to our request for an estimate. We had one other company come for a quote, but they never sent it. Pricing was reasonable and our new door and opener should be installed next week. Our neighbor highly recommend this company after they worked on their garage door. read more

Quick response, came the next day, diagnosed the problem as broken spring, installed new spring after I approved price quote and did maintenance on the door opener. Even showed me how to lubricate rollers and hinges. Took @ 1 hr. Total. Such a nice couple! Very pleased. read more

I'm laughing because I'm reading past posts and I love that someone said "Shawn is nice, funny, and exceedingly honest." I agree completely. But Denise is an integral part of the business. Last week I called early in the morning and Denise moved Shawn's schedule around so he could come out later that morning. Wonderful service! And Shawn speaks Spanish! read more

We are so impressed with Shawn and Grover Beach Door. He was recommended by our neighbor, and we couldn't be happier. Our garage door was not opening. My husband called Grover Beach Door and Shawn came out quickly. He changed out a switch and charged us a very reasonable price. Now, our 20+ year old garage door opener is working like a charm. We will definitely use Grover Beach Door for any future garage door needs! read more

HIghest recommendation for Sean and Grover Beach Door. My overhead spring snapped late on Friday afternoon. I called multiple garage door service providers. Sean got back to me the fastest and had my door in better shape than ever by 10:30 am the next day. Not only was his service exceptional and at a good price, but Sean is nice, funny, and exceedingly honest. I now have Grover Beach stickers on my garage door so I will know who to call next time. read more

They are deceitful and elder abuse. My friend had two very small dents in his garage door. An auto body person could fix easily for $50. Grover Beach Door fixed it for $1540....Thief's and con artists!!! read more

Shawn and Denise are awesome! I called on a Tuesday evening, Shawn was here at 10:00am the next day and completed the installation of a new door, controls, and motor by 5:00pm today. Shawn matched the services listed from another company - and the price was much more affordable with Grover Beach Door. Plus Shawn is a great guy, easygoing with a great sense of humor, and a sense of purpose too. He got right to work and was super efficient! I would not hesitate at all to recommend Grover Beach Door for new installations or repairs. read more

As a landscaper, I was in a jam because my enclosed trailer door broke and a repair place was going to be a month out. I called around a few places and left messages and these guys called me back right away. They said they don't usually fix these types of doors but were willing to come out and give it a look anyway. Not only was he able to fix it that day, he was very reasonable in price and just a really nice guy to deal with. I would recommend them 100%! Shawn Whitney Anything Grows Landscapes read more

Inquired to get a quote for a garage fix/installation and although website is misleading regarding getting seen for a free quote. I received an email stating due to gas price increase , they are unable to drive to my location (15 min away freeway) unless other customers had garage issues to come out my way I never heard of a business that won't come out due to gas. I ended up getting a whole brand new garage the following day with a company that was professional and helping in need of a new garage. read more

I had my garage replaced by GBD last week. The entire procedure from the time I contacted the office until the door was installed took approx. three days not counting weekend. the bid was very reasonable. Grover Beach Door is not trying to steal money from you like other companies like pre....n. They were very prompt and only replaced what I needed to make my door more quiet. One morning I was on my way to work and my garage door wouldn't open. I disengaged it many times, but with all my strength, I couldn't open it. I called Grover Beach Door and Denise was quick to tell me that I had a broken spring. Shawn happened to be working nearby and came over in a couple of hours. Soon I had a new spring and lubricated tracks and the best part was that I could get my car out of the garage. I couldn't be more pleased. read more

Our contractor had an "out of area" installer put in a new garage door. It is a 15 ft. wide, with low overhead, so wasn't typical. After 3-4 cycles, it jumped the track! Just as we were tying to move a lot of stuff into garage. I called Grover Beach door, and expressed my aggravation with situation, and a service call was squeezed in at end of day. Shawn came and found several problems right away, and soon had it working perfectly! ( He even found the opener remotes hidden away inside light lens.) I couldn't be happier with the results and service. read more

We had a great experience with Grover Beach Door. I called around and got about 5 quotes from different companies, including home improvement stores like Home Depot and Lowes. Grover Beach door was the cheapest and EASIEST to work with. Denise was quick to return my call and get me a quote unseen. Shawn came out later to give us a quote on the spot. He brought his iPad and was able to show us the cost differences for certain windows and was honest with us about insulated vs basic doors. (don't pay a premium if your garage isn't insulated) The door came in and Shawn installed it all by himself. Of course, our garage floor isn't level, so he called the manufacturer to get a larger seal. It's been very easy to work with Grover Beach Door and I'll definitely call them again when we install a door on our next home. read more

We arrived at our beach house in the evening the day after Christmas to find the garage door would only go up about a foot and then close again. I determined the problem was a broken spring. The next morning I called and left a message. Within the hour the office called me back. She arranged to have the technician out about an hour later. Shawn showed up right on time and within 30 minutes he changed out the broken spring and serviced the door.
