Nice neighborhood park, mostly a big grassy field with a pathway, popular for dog walkers. There is a smaller playground area on the south side of the park with four swings (including two infant/toddler ones), a slide structure, teeter totter, and picnic tables. While there are trees in the park and surrounding, I feel like on a very sunny day there wouldn't be very much shade for reprieve from the heat. A small public parking lot is available off of Irvington Dr for this park, but it seems like most people just park on the street near the south end of the park (likely people with kids for the lay area). No restroom facilities.
My daughter and I have been checking out as many new playgrounds as possible to find our favorite one. I wouldn't say this is it, but bonus points for the cleanliness of this public park, at least the day we visited. read more
