Great family place to spend a couple of hours. Nephews and I went to take a hay ride, pick apples, and wander through the corn maize, all for $5 per person. It is a great deal! I first heard of it through Groupon even though I missed the window to buy a coupon. My 10 and 13 year old nephews had a blast, climbing the hay mountain, running in the barrel rolls, figuring out the corn maize, eating apples and playing on the swings. I had to convince them it was time to go. They also have a great little store with all things apples including 16 different varieties that are grown on site. It is a quick drive from Canton, beautiful grounds, and delicious apples. Worth the trip.

Had a really great time here today. Was a much more laid back atmosphere compared to other fall festival places I've been too. We had a great time and was very affordable. Will definitely be back.

This place is awesome. First the drive was relaxing and nice. It's big so social distancing is doable. The sunflowers were beautiful. We took a picnic and just ate by our cars. It was a beautiful day! Our grandson enjoyed the play area and especially the zip line. I appreciated the friendliness of all the workers. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Nice people. Apples a bit overpriced. Really good apple cider. It's unpasteurized which is better for you.

They also have two concession stands! Our family spent four hours and never even made it to the corn maze. The staff is overly accommodating and friendly. I am really surprised by the previous yelp's I read. This is a small family owned business and they were all running around keeping things clean and in order. I really think people need to be careful right now more than ever leaving a bad review because you may be in a mood yourself. If your heading to an outdoor event I would not expect all people to be walking around outside in a mask. If your that afraid you just may want to stay home an order a pumpkin on line. Don't leave a poor review on a local business working hard to stay up and running. This farm has been in Hartville for a long time. That's why it gets packed so quickly. Loyal customers that enjoy a great service they provide to our community. If your looking for a fun day out I highly recommend stopping here.

My family and I went for their fall…read moreevent that includes a hayride, corn maze, pumpkin picking from the vine and a play area for kids. Entry was $5 and kids 2 and under are free. The entry fee gets you access to everything mentioned. There were 3 food trucks in front, and also their main building consists of fresh picked vegetables (a big assortment of peppers ranging from mild to hot) and other handmade local goods. Prices are very reasonable as well. If you don't want to pick your own pumpkin, there are also ones that you can just choose and purchase in front of their main building, along with cornstalks. Let me tell you, this hayride is by far the best I've been on. From the cleanliness of the farm and the hayride, to the organization and friendliness of the employees. They close at 5pm on Saturdays, and advertise that their last hayride is at 4pm, but they went until almost closing due to there still being people who wanted to ride. There were 2 tractors that took patrons to and from the pumpkin area. The ride to the area was about 5 or so minutes, and coming back was about 10 minutes. While riding, you get views of the whole farm, a view of a pond and also ride through their orchards. The tractors and seating area were clean and in good shape. The pumpkin patch had a lot to choose from and different shapes, sizes and colors. Many were still on the vine. The price for the pumpkins is $0.42 per pound. I got one huge pumpkin, and 4 small ones for $12. Not bad at all! This farm has yearly events, and I can't wait to return. Definitely recommended!

But what do I want to do? "Fall stuff" that Southern California, as much as I love it, just can't provide. That was our agreement - I will go to football games with him if he will go to pumpkin patches with me. So we found ourselves (now three times at Diamond Hill Farm) which put me in the mood I've always wanted to have in September / October but never have had until this year. It's a beautiful drive out to this working farm and the setting is beautiful once you arrive. There are pumpkins galore - all different shapes and sizes. There are also gourds, straw bales, corn stalks, decorative corn and mums for sale. If you want fall decor, this is your place to be. I'm not sure how their prices compare locally, but compared to California, it's a steal! There also seems to be plenty of fun to be had for the little ones. I didn't study it much because we had no little kids in tow, but it seems for a small fee or season pass, parents can take their babes into the fields for some swinging, slides, a hay ride, etc. Then there are the local goodies you can buy like fresh meats, jams, nuts and a few other things. I bought so many pumpkins and straw bales (remember I noted the reasonable prices?) that I needed a few wagons. Not sure if it was the owners or employees, but whoever came to help load everything into our truck was friendly. Go have a look and a buy if you want a lovely weekend drive and a good taste of fall. We live up near Akron, and before recently, we had never known about this beautiful farm. Fall Festival was so much fun - perfect for our 1 year old and I'd imagine fun all the way thru school agers. Corn pits, short corn mazes, friendly farm animals, slides and playgrounds, and activity areas galore made our little one's day. He loved seeing the resident rabbit hopping around the farm. Beautiful decor, treats, and gifts were inside the temperature controlled barn near an outdoor pumpkin store and even a small area for the littlest ones to pick their favorite tiny pumpkin. We brought friends for Christmas on the Farm, and everyone had a great time. We werent sure what to expect, but everything was organized and done really nicely while keeping a good pace. We started out with ice skating in the main admissions barn, followed by decorating cookies in Mrs. Claus' barn. She gave us lots of time as our 6, 4, and 2 year olds iced cookies, telling us about different things, reading stories, and engaging the kids. Next, we ended up in Santa's barn which was nicely decorated to look authentic. He told the older kids some fun tricks while slowly warming up my cautious two year old. Before long, he had gotten my son's attention by giving him fives and my son was in his arms at his tool bench helping him build a project with a toy hammer. SC spent a lot of time with our children which was a special bonus, and afterwards they got to participate in an "indoor snowball fight" and make reindeer food amongst other crafts. On our way back to the main barn, we picked up the fresh, hot cocoa and cider included in our admissions. We will be back to Nickajack for future events especially in the fall and at Christmas. The Christmas event just blew us away, especially for only $12 admission. If you're looking for fun for the younger set in the fall or an absolutely magical (or convincing) visit from Santa, look no further.

Parking was easy but very packed. Pretty rugged terrain to be honest. I have a bronco and that was fine but a smaller passenger car might have had some issues. Lots of divots and uneven ground. 1 way in and 1 way out. Ok going in. More challenging going out. Narrow driveway. 2 food trucks and some sweets trucks. The 2 food trucks seemed overwhelmed. Heard the hot dog truck ran out of hot dogs by 1:30p. Long lines at everything. We chose to not eat there. The artisans were good. They had about 30 or so. Some inside a barn and some outside. Some repeats with candle people being the most. The barn is nice looking. But with lots of people it was very hot on a day where it was 85 degrees. They should have some fans on the ceiling to just move some air. There is cement stairs and a railing to help people walk in to the barn. The event was focused around the flowering fields. It was $30 to pick some flowers and take them home. Here is the thing. I thought $30 was high. But plenty of people paid. You get a little vase 1 size and some scissors. Then off you go picking as many as you want that fit in to your vase. However, again by 1:30p it seemed like slim pickings literally. They are still taking money and it's a long line but most of the flowers seemed picked already. Our friends were out there and were struggling to fill the vase and get their moneys worth. Not a repeat for me. Love the idea. Just thought the execution was poor. Not the artisans fault so that is the score. I want to support local and small biz so I am being more generous than I would if it was just the farm and picking flowers.

You can come anytime between 5-9pm and for $30, you get a large plastic cup, a pair of sharp snips, and free roam in their fields. A great spot to grab Instagram-worthy photos, this is a fun activity to do with a close friend, family, or as a unique date idea. I noticed couples, families with young children, and groups of friends all enjoying themselves. You can pay with exact cash, credit card, or Venmo. The owners point you toward the best flowers currently in bloom and make sure you know how welcome you are. If you bring the cup back at any future event, you will get $5 off your next purchase. I picked well over $30 worth of some of the most beautiful and diverse flowers I've ever seen - much better than any bouquet I could find in a local store (although many local stores in NE Ohio sell Bloom Hill's blooms). Their website shares the backstory of the farm and includes lots of fun events they have planned such as a dedicated date night experience, classes that allow you to cut your own flowers and then teaches you how to arrange them, activities for children, and special events that include bouncy houses, live music, food trucks and more.
