J B contacted us right away and set up a bid meeting for a couple days later. After his evaluation of the job we got a bid from him the next day. I'm saying all this to show that they are quick to work with you. The amazing part is that they actually kept me in the loop on permits and followed up on schedule! The window looks and works great inside and out and was installed at a very reasonable rate. The work performed and customer service was way above and beyond the average I have encountered! If you seriously want or need some work done well at a reasonable rate check them out.

Well what an amazing experience I had with door systems of montana! In sub zero temps I was in too…read moremuch of a hurry and smashed my garage door in because I forgot about my luggage rack when I rushed in the garage! DOH! Talk about a stupid mistake! It was all smashed and caved in and the rollers popped off. I was lucky it didn't fall on my car. I did manage to mostly close it, but I thought it was totally ruined and unfixable. The next morning, in -20 degree weather I called the two main places in town, one of them being door systems, and ended up having the most awesome conversation with Bob, who is amazing and helped me so much. I paid for emergency service instead of waiting till the next week for service, and they had a guy there in ONE HOUR!! And then, to my amazement, the tech that came transformed my smashed and non working door back into a fully functional, nearly normal looking garage door again! You can hardly tell it was smashed and bent previously! Obviously it has some dents and marks and to be perfect again two of the panels need to be replaced, but damn! You have to look hard at the door to see that! I'd almost just leave it be and not spend the money to completely fix it! It's that good. I'm impressed. Anyway, I'll probably get it fully fixed, but I just have to say I am very impressed with door systems, Bob, and the guy who came and fixed my door. And all this for only $165!! It's almost unbelievable for these days. I'll be doing business with Bob again!

I recently hired Helena FixIt Services for a small bathroom remodel, and I honestly couldn't be…read morehappier with how it turned out. We were looking to update our basement bathroom: new vanity, modern faucet, fresh tile surround, new toilet, better lighting, and a quick fresh coat of paint. Nothing structural, just a tired 90s bathroom that needed to feel clean and current without blowing the budget. Robert was fantastic from the first phone call. He came over the same week I reached out, listened carefully to what we wanted, gave honest feedback about what was realistic in the space and our price range, and sent a clear, detailed quote within 24 hours--no vague "ballpark" nonsense. The pricing was very fair for the Helena area, especially considering the quality of materials he recommended. The work itself was completed in 6 days (they said 5-7, so right on target). He was polite, clean, and clearly knew what he was doing. He protected the floors and hallway perfectly--no drywall dust apocalypse like we've had with other contractors. Highlights: - The Schluter strip details and perfect grout lines look pro-level. - He fixed a slow leak in the shower valve we didn't even know we had (saved us future headache and money). - New LED vanity lights + recessed lights completely changed the feel of the room. - They hauled away all the old fixtures and left the place spotless. Communication was excellent the whole time--daily updates via text with photos. Any questions we had got answered quickly, and he was happy to tweak a couple small things (like moving the towel bar over 2 inches) without any attitude. Bottom line: our bathroom now feels like it belongs in a much nicer house, we stayed within budget, and the whole experience was stress-free. If you're thinking about a small-to-medium remodel (especially bathrooms or kitchens), I'd call Helena FixIt Services without hesitation. 10/10, would hire again in a heartbeat, in fact we plan to! Highly recommend! -Sarah M.

My initial review prompted the company to berate me via text message essentially forcing me to…read moreremove the review. After much consideration I have decided that my experience should be shared. Pros: friendly and punctual crew Cons: sloppy work that damaged our stucco, flashing cut haphazardly, fasteners in questionable locations, heat tape placed in incorrect orientation and incorrect location, roof vents out of plumb, and poor cleaning of job site (razor sharp shards of metal flashing left around perimeter, no magnet used to pick up nails, etc). When contacted after my first review the company did not offer to rectify the situation. Instead, they became defensive and claimed that "a repair can only look so good." Other roofers in town can make a repair look as good as new and that should be the standard to which work is done.
