First, there have been SEVERAL break-ins to cars and apartments in the years that I have lived there. The gates are supposed to make the complex a safe place but they are always broken and people just go in and out. Second, there are people playing loud music til 3 or 4 in the morning and when you complain to the landlord NOTHING is done about it. Third, AND MOST IMPORTANT. The landlord is extremely unprofessional and will enter your apartment or allow her STUDENT workers to enter apartments without any notice. Not ONLY do they enter without any notice, they will enter when nobody is home and never tell you they were there. I have been in my apartment several times and one of the workers will just unlock the door and walk right in. Not only does that make me uncomfortable because i have valuables in my apartment, it makes me feel unsafe and like i have no privacy. When a complaint is made about how they enter without any notice or enter when you aren't home without telling you, nothing is done about it because the landlord has no idea how to run a business.
