Bill came with the charge on which I asked for it to be removed. The server then argued and said why order food if you did not like, should we take that? I replied that is not the issue, however if the server had explained that then I would have requested for them to box up for me to take home and then they could justify charging me. The complete rudeness and on top of that a jumped up hero decided to get involved! For the kids sake no point in arguing further but what a horrific experience and never have I heard anything so ridiculous. Some customer relations training needs to happen! a place I would not go to or people I know! After years of eating here, no more! Respect your customers, don't make them feel bad and talk to them normally. Dont take the meal away if you also want them to pay for it!!!!

I arrived on time and there were three people in front of me. It was bitterly cold and raining but I assumed I would have to wait a few minutes. One customer was served but in the next ten minutes three delivery Company drivers arrived, pushed straight to the front of the queue and were served immediately. By now I had been waiting for fifteen minutes, getting colder and colder. I was called and gave my name. There was no sign of my order and in the meantime another 4 delivery drivers arrived and were served immediately. It is clear that this business has no regard for individual customers who go to the back of the queue. My complaint is that they do not make any mention of this and they should at least be honest about the way they disregard individual customers in favour of the big delivery companies. After half an hour I asked what had happened to my order and to my amazement the staff member said 'what's your name!?' I was eventually served, frozen and soaking wet after half an hour. The food is nice but was completely ruined by my negative experience of the service and the misleading way it treats its individual customers

We decided on apps for our table of 4: Golden Money Bags (get your mind out of the gutter!) and the One Bite Salmon. GMB were pastry packets filled with Thai spiced chicken served with a sauce. Really delicious with a delicate crunch. Teh OBS was my favorite. The salmon was topped with lime, ginger, lemongrass, toasted coconut & nestled in a betel leaf. Just pop the whole thing in your mouth! Man, the flavors go together well with the slightly crispy salmon. For dinner I ordered the Thai Red Curry (I'm a sucker for red curry) with prawns. Hands down the best red curry I've had! Definitely on the spicy side & packed with with a combination of flavors went well with the prawns. H had the Giggline Pad Thai which he said was good but not the best. Oh well, at least there was one extremely happy person at the table. Not sure what everyone else ordered but it did look delicious! Staff, while not fluent in English, were nice & they all worked together to ensure that you have a good experience. When in Beaconsfield, check this place out!

Staff never forgot about my table and always made sure we were happy with our food. Food was slightly pricey, but for what you paid you did get exceptional food and good quality food too. However, you had to add rice separately onto your dish rather than it automatically coming with your food, i felt this was a shame because the main meals were already very expensive. Overall, great atmosphere, great service and tasty food! I will be returning.

What could go wrong? Well, first, the pub is a mess. The decor is very much I need of updating. The yellow light bulbs surely hide the true picture here. It's dated, stuffy, poorly maintained and in desperate need of modernising. The service at the bar wasn't very good either. Prices seem normal though. I got a bottle of still water for £1.50. The glass was clean and full of ice with a slice, so not bad there. Secondly, the restaurant part. The menus are tasty, the waitress is impossible to understand, and the food was served without any grace. I ate a green chicken curry that lacked much chicken and veg, but was swimming in coconut milk. The coconut rice was too sticky and the proportion of rice to curry was not right - more rice than was needed. By it tasted ok. Put it this way, I wouldn't rush back, and if I lived here I wouldn't eat here, but as I'm in the hotel across the road, it was a decent stop gap and probably much better than the food in the hotel bar.

The decor is nice, but the music volume was low so we were conscious of our noise level as my 3 year old niece was with us. None-the-less we had a good evening. All the food was presented nicely. From our starters, I mostly enjoyed the Thai fish cakes (4 in a portion) but hoped they would be bigger in size. I wasn't too keen on the chicken hot wings, but the others enjoyed them. They had a twist in that once you bite the Crispy coating you see they have put sweetcorn and some small noodles inside, which I've not seen before. I couldn't fault any of the mains we had as everything was delicious. We ordered more egg fried rice as there was a lot of curry left over. I would say one egg fried rice per person is required.

I've been here a few times and the food is generally fairly good yet I struggle to be overly enthusiastic about it. We opened with tempura vegetables and golden parcels, the parcels were tasty but a little light on the meat while the tempura was just way too big and the batter, while quite light was not quite cooked through. Jungle curry was good as was sticky rice and the noodle and vegetable side was nice and spicy. Given you aren't spoilt for choice for Thai restaurants in the area then I would say the Teak House is worth a visit, it's on the good side of average but it's not somewhere I would travel miles to get to.
