As we had a train to catch (Via Canadian heading to Vancouver), we didn't have enough time to do this place justice. This is not a place where you want to bring a child that can read. There are a lot of magnets, postcards, mugs and gifts that have cheeky sayings and innuendos that would be understood by most adults. I have posted pictures of some of the items that are in there. This is not an adults store - it is definately a sourvenir/gift shop. If you have a sense of humor, you can be entertained in here easily for the duration of your stay. Definately check them out if you are looking for a unique gift for a friend or family member with a sense of humor. I did find the items quite pricey in here (for example, $24.99 for a travel mug). However, there are more inexpensive items as well. Enjoy!

Standing atop thousands upon thousands of years of compressed ice offers a rare, humbling perspective, a visceral reminder that human presence on this planet is but a flicker against timescales the mind can scarcely grasp. The center itself supports the experience admirably, with a cafeteria, gift shop, and viewing deck that let guests linger over the vista before or after their excursion. Yet the retreat of the ice is impossible to ignore, and it lends the whole outing an unexpectedly elegiac quality. This is not merely a bucket-list photo opportunity but a quiet meditation on impermanence, on how even the grandest natural monuments are not exempt from change. Service is the true differentiator here; an enthusiastic, knowledgeable guide turns a simple sightseeing stop into something closer to pilgrimage. If there is room for improvement, clearer signage around parking and the walk to the ticket counter would spare arriving guests some early confusion. An essential, thought-provoking excursion that pairs natural wonder with a gentle warning. Highly recommended, with sincere hope that this icefield remains for generations still to come.

I reminded her that we were 3 people and she had only given samples. we left the counter and were looking for jade/rocks. I went back to the counter and asked the lady why she denied me the 3rd sample - on what grounds ? . In other words I was asking her to apologize but she would not and said she would give me another free sample . I told her the purpose of my asking her why she did not offer a 3rd sample was not to get one but to determine if she discriminates vs people of a different color/race . She was furious and refused to answer my question. I will never visit this place ever.
