I had two problems that needed to be addressed. I had a fairly new toilet that hadn't been set…read moreproperly and was moving around the floor and leaking. Also, the cold water stopped working in my shower, making the shower unusable. I lost my husband this year and am never sure about what to do when things go wrong in the house, since I never had to address those problems in the past. I called 1-Tom and they made me feel completely confident about my choice. Right from the start, I liked the fact that they answered the phone and I didn't have to keep pushing buttons to get to the right person. I was told that they stood behind all their work and they would make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Before Alex came to my home, I received a photo of him. He was confident and friendly and I immediately felt I was in good hands. Originally it looked like it was going to be a bad situation with the toilet and that the floor might have to be torn up. Alex showed me what the problem was and I could now see why the toilet couldn't be installed correctly in the first place. Alex called his boss and discussed what needed to be done. He was able to do it without damaging the floor, which was a huge relief. I trusted that 1-Tom did the best job possible for me while avoiding major repairs. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to my friends.

This review is in addition to a review I wrote about a different job Platinum Plumbing did for me…read more After 7 years or so I once again called on Platinum Plumbing for a project. Replace the first floor baseboard with high output baseboard. Peter measured the job up and returned with Christian another day to complete the work. I admit I was impressed with the concern that was paid to how each peice was installed. A level and tape measure was used on each peice of baseboard to insure that when completed the entire run was the same height and on the same plain. Each cover was trimmed if needed so it fit together properly. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves and even helped me put my things back, which they didn't have to do. I could say I'm happy with the work they did and leave it there. The truth is I'm really impressed with the work did, it came out more beautiful than I hoped. They showed more attention to detail than they had to, and the price was very competitive. Its been 7 years and Pete is still doing really prideful work. I highly recommend you give this company a chance to work at your home or business. Im certain you're going to be impressed with the end result. Henry.

This was astronomically high in our opinion. We got another plumber to look at it and he fixed the leak within 30 minutes and it only cost us $350. HUGE price difference! Companies like Plumbwell seem to be in the business of up selling and price gouging. Needless to say, we will not be calling them ever again. The price was higher than I had hoped, but the technician completed the job professionally, adjusted the water temperature with me, and got my water back on the same day. Everything is working well so far, and I appreciate the quick response. Thank you! Update: I have to revise my original review. After the repair, I discovered that the tub spout does not sit properly against the wall, so the job was not fully completed. I was told before they left that having them come back to address the remaining finish work would cost an additional $375. After already paying $1,630 for the repair, I'm disappointed that the installation was left this way. Update: I wanted to further update my review. After I reported that the tub spout wasn't sitting properly against the wall, the original technician came back and fixed it at no additional charge. It only took a few minutes, and everything is now working properly. The tub spout stays secure, and the shower operates as it should. I still feel the repair was expensive at $1,630, but I appreciate that they stood behind their work and returned to complete the job without any hassle. Because of that, I've updated my rating back to 4 stars.
