Unfortunately, I did not get that same experience from Ashley. From the moment I spoke with her, I felt judged and dismissed. She looked me up and down multiple times, and the interaction made me uncomfortable. I was on vacation and dressed casually and comfortably, but that should not determine how a customer is treated. I brought in a genuine luxury item because I needed funds, and while I understand pawn shops have to verify authenticity, the way I was approached made me feel more like a suspect than a customer. What upset me even more was the way my bag was handled. While checking it, she pulled aggressively at the pockets and ended up creasing (I have photos from the day before) the bag instead of handling it gently and professionally. When someone brings in a luxury item, they expect it to be treated with care and respect *It took 2 employees 3 times to get her to come out of the safe room AND I called the day before inquiring when she would be available *She was telling another employee that my chain strap didn't look\feel authentic. Tried telling me that my mass produced luxury bag is cheap *Ashley told me she would call me and tore off a tiny itty bitty piece of receipt paper for my contact details **NEVER CALLED ME** What made this experience more disappointing is that these stores are nostalgic for me. My father worked for Sol's back in the 2000s, so I've always associated these shops with familiarity and respect. Sadly, after this experience, that feeling is gone. So much for Greenberg's Repair Service, I Purchased a $1300 ring from GB several years ago, took…read moreinto store today to have it resized, which I fully intended on paying for. The only reason I even went there is because that is where the ring was purchased and the last time I sent it in to have it re-rhodiumed they polished the setting a little too much and really changed the appearance of the setting, so I wanted to see if that could be repaired as well. (yes... I still have all my receipts and amazingly, I also have the sales catalog that shows my ring) The saleswomen took my ring in the back room (supposedly to have their onsite goldsmith look at it) and returned rather quickly I would say no more than a couple minutes later and told me that my ring could not be resized. I was given a lame excuse for the reason. (this ring has a solid band in the back with no diamond setting in that area) so I took it to two other jewelers in the same mall, they both couldn't see any reason why GB said it couldn't be resized, so I am having a Greenberg's competitor do the work for me. I have purchased many pieces from Greenberg's over the years, but after today I will never buy another thing from them. The customer service has greatly decreased since they closed the Mall of the Bluff's location. That's okay though. Moving forward, I'll just buy my jewelry elsewhere. I mean who wants to buy from a jewelry store that refuses to fix their own merchandise. The service at Westroad's has much to be desired. If I could give them zero stars It would be more fitting to their service. I sure wish I could figure out how to contact GB's corporate office; I would surely love to hear what they have to say....ugh!!!!

But I custom designed a very expensive ring from here, however when I received the ring much later the diamond is set very obviously crooked. Took it back to had it straightened and it was returned with a prong out of alignment. Took it back a second time and they walked the ring behind a door for a few moments before bringing it back out to me saying it was all fixed, but it fact it hadn't been altered at all. There will not be a third visit.

My girlfriend spends roughly $800 to $900 at a time buying from their online store. Those items that do not work for her, we return. We do the return at the store. We do it this way for two reasons. 1. So we can see that the credit is done 2. So she can also look to see if they have anything else she may like and/or the same items she is returning more in a size that is suitable for her petite size 0 frame. The employees hate having to do returns and try to encourage you to do them online instead by going back on line and registering your return and getting a QR code. You then take that QR code into the store and do your return. So you are pretty much doing the employees job so they don't have too, and you still have to go into the store for the return anyway. There are always some cranky ladies working here and they try to mask their distain for you and your returns by acting like they are very important because they work here and talk AT you very loudly. My g/f is really rethinking her decision to buy anything from Ann Taylor simply due to how we get treated in store. She said she will stick to Von Maur, where the staff is very helpful and always glad to see you. Ann Taylor needs to pay attention to their customers and get rid of the bad customer service. They are losing sales due to it.
