I now travel for an hour and a half to go there (and have done so for almost 15 years). Hopefully that speaks for itself. Over the past 20 years or so I have received consistently excellent care and attention to detail. I recently needed some work done and have to say that for something no one is going to relish it was a positive experience. The dentist I had my consultation with was very unclear on what was best for me and gave no comfort in the expected outcome. He said that everyone's opinion of a perfect smile is different and that they cannot guarantee anything if I wanted alterations and wasn't happy I would have to pay more. After asking a few questions about the invisilign braces he told me he wasn't an orthodontist and not a specialist in straightening teeth he simply did the invisilign procedures that would never give you a perfect smile. He definitely did not reassure me that he had great knowledge in this field and provided very few direct answers instead he just repeated the same thing. I decided this clinic was not for me and once at reception to get my refund for consultation the receptionist proceeded to write my card details down on paper and told me she would do it later! I asked her to do it there and then and took my details away. Overall it was not what I expected from a consultation and general behaviour of any clinic, it gave me know trust to continue with any procedures!

This was probably the best, most comfortable and professional dental experience of my life. The staff got me in right away (the next morning) and were so warm and lovely. Their offices were professional, really clean and quite state of the art. I saw a beautiful female dentist (not relevant, but she is!) who I *believe* is Dr. Danya Mougharbel, but am not positive and a really friendly female hygienist, both very professional and welcoming. The dentist discovered my gums around the crown were very inflamed and that I needed some gum surgery before the crown could be readhered, which was fine. I felt nothing -- seriously, whatever magic numbing juju they use is miraculous because I felt literally nothing and my face didn't feel like it was sliding off my head, either. Really localized anesthesia -- well done! She reseated the crown and it felt immediately 100% better. No discomfort, no pain, and my bite finally felt normal, which it never had since I'd had the crown initially applied. I was thrilled. I was a little nervous about the cost, but considering they saw me immediately, did surgery and used industrial super mega space shuttle adhesive to keep my crown on (okay, not space shuttle glue), I was pleasantly surprised by a roughly £200 bill. I wish I'd gotten my crown here to begin with! They were so helpful in sending the photos and my file to my US dentist so I could dispute their work. Really immediate customer service by the office management. Thank you, Kings Cross Dental Clinic! I want to come back for a cleaning before I go home!

But the time came and we had the insurance so off we went. I was holding off on writing this review until I had some real work done by Dr. Dickson. So yesterday I went on line to his handy dandy appointment website and booked myself in to have a cracked filling replaced. I think he is the best dentist I have ever had. My cleaning was actually pleasurable. No blood. My filling replacement well, it was dental work so I can't say it was pleasurable. What I can say is that apart from the Novocaine shot I didn't feel any pain. Even now that the numbness has worn off I feel totally fine. My filling feels very natural and like the old one when I bite on it. You know how sometimes you can just tell that someone is good at what they do? I get that feeling here. I think he is not only good at being a dentist but he really likes it and wants to make you as comfortable as possible. I also like that he really explains what is going on so you know what treatment you need, what treatments can wait and what is really important. Plus I can say that he is the first dentist ever to not mention my tongue piercing. Usually I get a lecture. Nope, nothing. Thanks again Dr. Dickson!!
