His failure to live up to his promised completion date, his failure to inform us of his illness and subsequent delayed work schedule, his failure to correctly calculate the cost of his materials before quoting a price he then increased by nearly 55%, and now his "alleged" six month lead time on all work he still had not even started did not seem to faze him at all. He just said we were upsetting him. At this point he told us we could have the old cushion forms and material he had ordered back and go have them done somewhere else because he couldn't handle being upset. No point in starting all over again, spending even more time and money. We were forced to acquiesce or double our costs and miss the summer completely. Meanwhile, the boat was in the water and incurring another $400.00 a month slip fee. Three subsequent telephone calls to his shop went unanswered. At last, in late July, two months after he had promised, he finally finished our cushions and increased our finished price by around $50.00. There was no apology, no responsibility taken for the $800.00 (2 months) in marine dockage fees, the time lost in a four month sailing season being shortened to two months. This man's hubris and complete lack of accountability is the reason we're writing.

The phone still worked fine, but the broken glass was getting worse so I called around to a few different companies to get quotes. UBreakIFix quoted $250 and would need to make an appointment, Lake Effect Phone Repair was $200 and could be done the same day with no appointment, and Repair Tech 360 quoted $149 and it would take 4-5 hours but they had the part in stock. I decided to just do the cheapest option, and was really happy with the experience. It did take about 5 hours, but Laura was so funny and nice and joking around with me, "What did you do to your phone," - I really liked her sense of humor. Plus the job was done well and my phone looks brand new again. I'd definitely go back for future repairs or technology issues. Their services are clearly priced on their menu screen.

I was charged twice on my credit card for services not rendered. I asked her to explained the charges on my card. That is when she turned away from me, and started ranting about injustices of ICE, and the current president in a negative way to a friend inside the shop. Then she made a comment about my Trump's hat. I walked out the store after being treated poorly. I believe her ranting explains why she cannot fix phones appropriately.
