Last time I needed to talk to the chef and he responded that he creates all these great dishes, but does not want to make this ordinary Munsterland Special. Only because I had a second person in our party who wanted the same and me explaining that I come from afar for this, he gave in. It is the "Muensterland Schnitzel". The Schnitzel is pork, breaded, cooked to perfection (crispy and juicy) and then loaded with onions and local beacon and finally topped with an egg. Usually they add as a side of homemade fried potatoes (Bratkartoffeln), which are fantastic. But you can ask for other items such as fries. It also comes with a nice fresh small side salad. The portion is so big, that I usually forfeit the potatoes....because there is so much greatness on the main plate! This is truly a local specialty and they prepare it 5 stars. - They also prepare certified meats from animal welfare, which is well worth it.
