They're one of the best fries I had. Thinly-sliced and deliciously-coated fries can never go wrong. CONS: Their place along SM North's Sky Garden is open air and without air conditioning. It would usually be fine and it also minimizes the chance of you smelling like patties, but during hot days like this, you'd tend to find cooler places. I didn't try the burrito but I suspected it to be like the rest of the food which was....practically inedible. I will presume that a lot if not most of these type of places obviously cater to a particular palate that I'm not really keen on. No offense, please. It's just not for me. Honestly, this is Filipino comfort food. Nothing says "home" like eating a good breakfast meal at any time of the day! Though the ambience looks more modern in this branch, you still get that carinderia style service. You line up at the counter to order food and see the available "ulam" on display. The favorite silogs are posted on a board. But, ask what's available just in case (though the tapsilog will ALWAYS be available). Then, you're given a number and the food is delivered to your table. Carlo and I ordered the usual tapsilog and sisig. From what I remember, the food here is a bit pricier. As far as we can remember, the tapsilog costs Php85. Here it cost us Php95. Anyway, the quality of the food is the same! The taste of Rodic's tapsilog was satisfying and brought back memories of our college days (and the crazy stuff we did!). Rodic's is definitely a must try for people who want very good Pinoy breakfast food. I know there are way cheaper options. But, for the quality, serving, and overall taste, you should go here. I was surprised to see them serving Coke, because Pepper lunch is owned by Suntory, which is a partner of PepsiCo, but that aside. Steak and coke makes for a great lunch. This is one of the few place that has a line, so more people like this place I guess.

At first glance, the menu was a bit pricey, but the pictures looked so good so I thought it would be worth it. I was wrong. My colleagues and I ordered beef crispy tacos, nachos with cheese, chilli cup, and beef enchilada. Unfortunately, everything, except for the chilli, was bad. The chilli was placed on a bowl that is half-full. The texture and flavor was there, and it was really spicy. The nachos were not crispy, as if chewing on rocks, and the cheese sauce and cheese were salty, and only enough to cover the top part of the nachos. The enchilada was forgettable. As of this writing, I don't remember the taste of it already. I just know that after having lunch here, I decided to have a second lunch.
