We ended up finding the intro class to be misleading as to what Crossfit really was (bad on me for not looking into this more), Crossfit is alot of high intensity training sometimes until failure, lots of Olympic weight lifting.. There's a good chance you will hurt yourself, google it. If you decide after your commitment you want to quit, no problem, but they'll keep 2 months of fees, which ended up being $600 between me and my fiancé, and that's in addition to the $300 they kept for the onramp portion. $900 total. (The two months for cancellation is spelled out in 2 different clauses in the contract, it's there, but its definitely not worded clearly). And good luck getting them to return your phone call, the only way I could get them to reply to me after a month of calling and leaving voice mails was by email. Save your money. Get P90X instead, its way safer, and cheaper.

As far as the gym goes I can always expect it to be clean and there is a great selection of both weight and cardio equipment. I have never really been into doing group classes before but do enjoy occasionally hitting up a yoga class and always enjoy it. I had always been worried about gym memberships because of all the horror stories you hear so I was still skeptical even when I heard there were no-contracts at fitness focus. but I had to leave the country for a year and had no trouble ending my membership and restarting it again when I returned. so happy to be back!
