He was kind and soothing, he walked me through the next steps so I understood the process, he worked through the middle of the night checking with the jail if I had been processed yet. (it was Saturday night / Sunday morning which is the day the update their computer system - so it was down & which provided a little obstacle bc there was no previous record. He worked through the night & was able to get me out in ample time early the next morning. When I met him it felt like being in the presence of a wise, kind, safe parental figure.
