When he noted an unusual electric panel setup, he said without qualifiers or handwaving that he was not sure what the implications of it were and would find out for us (which he did). I used Curtis of Armored Home Inspections for a general inspection, wood infestation test, and radon test for a two-family investment property that I'm buying in Ardmore, PA. My experience with him was very positive. He came recommended to me by my boss, who bought a house in Haverford, and I would recommend him too. Curtis invited me to attend the inspection and I followed him around the property. The inspection was very thorough. He explained his findings to me as they occurred, and he answered my many questions completely. I had some follow up questions and he spent time with me on the phone discussing some of the issues that arose during the inspection. Curtis was a very nice person and he came off very knowledgable about his service. He was able to explain how to repair certain findings and the estimated cost for the repair. We hired Curtis from Armored Home Inspection at the suggestion of our realtor for a new home purchase. We could not have been more pleased with the customer service provided by Curtis and his wife Laurie. They were quick to respond to our requests, and very flexible with scheduling. When Curtis first came to the home, it wasn't finished enough to provide a proper inspection, so he offered to reschedule rather than waste both of our times on an incomplete inspection. The reschedule had to occur very close to our closing, but he was still able to get us the extremely detailed report in time. My brother recommended Armored after observing Curtis inspect a home that our sister was purchasing. My brother was very impressed with how professional and tenacious Curtis was during the inspection.
