I spoke to Chris, who I believe to be the head honcho, at Armour Bearer two weeks before my move date, and he provided a spot-on accurate estimate, from a time, cost, and manpower perspective. His price blew others out of the water and he had four guys instead of the three everyone else offered. My moving crew showed up early, in good spirits, and didn't complain at all. I had the contents of my life in a 10'x30' storage unit packed floor to ceiling and it was to all to be moved to my new home five miles away, including a very heavy and valuable antique grand piano. My entire move took place in the city of Greensboro, and took about 6 hours total. The moving crew was so honest they knocked time off their price when they stopped for a break and lunch! They went above and beyond. They were afraid to place my piano on my hardwood floors without protectors/sliders, so they offered to wait for me to run to Lowe's to get some. I will use them again if I need to move anything, anywhere, and I would recommend them without reservation. What a professional, charming, and kind team to work with. 100% satisfied. read more

Top notch movers. I reached out on a Friday evening to change my move to Sunday and they accommodated. The crew showed up early and got straight to work. They took care of all the fragile pieces like it were their own. read more

If you ever need a mover, you should hire Armor Bearer movers! They are EXCELLENT!!!. They helped me in a very short amount time, 3 times! Chris Brown and all of the others are beyond FANTASTIC. They were on time, professional, very nice and did a fabulous job of packing some very delicate items for a drive in a U-Haul from NC to Dallas TX. Not even a light bulb broke. They took the time to care my items just I would care for them. They even asked me to let them know I made it back to TX safely. Again, if you need a mover, this is who you should call! read more

These guys were professional, friendly and efficient and my location had some challenges. OUTSTANDING!!!!My move got done in record time just two hours and the price was great!!! I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone. Loved the communication also. read more

Professional, friendly, and efficient. Got all the heavy stuff that I didn't and couldn't handle moved easily, plus some of the rest.

We did not have that good of an experience. And it was very expensive - over $1000 to move our stuff into a 4 bedroom home. All of our items were in one storage building and the movers had to empty it and bring it to our new house, 15 minutes away. It took a very long time, even though there was 4 of them and 2 trucks (that we had to pay extra for). When things were finally all brought in, the guys were just going to leave without putting anything together. When asked if they could, they said that since they didn't dis-assemble it that they couldn't put it together. They finally agreed to it and put things together. This included items like our bed, our daughter's crib, table, and side tables. Things were put together very hastily and screws weren't tightened. We had to turn everything over and redo it and tighten it in the following weeks. On top of everything, they stole our step stool. They were using it and we reminded them to please give it back, but they still packed it up and drove off with it. I'm also missing one box of very expensive pots and pans. It was in a clear bin so it was very easy to see what was in the bin. Those are no where to be found. They were in the storage unit when it was packed though. It was $400 worth of pots and pans. read more

I think everyone would agree that moving is stressful. If you want to alleviate some of that stress then be smart and choose Armour Bearer Movers. From the AWESOME price for our move from Conway SC to Browns Summit to the final walk through, we couldn't have been happier and more impressed with this great group of guys! They took GREAT CARE of all of our 'stuff'. They were VERY POLITE and never showed frustration with all of our questions. Chris, the owner, was PUNCTUAL in returning all of our calls, which were many! All of these things add up to 5 STAR REVIEW!!! We would give them MORE STARS if we could!!! If you want to make the RIGHT CHOICE for a DEPENDABLE and VERY FAIRLY PRICED moving company then look no further than ARMOUR BEARER MOVERS!!! read more

I have used this mover now for two moves. They have great prices but the service is what makes them the only movers I would ever use. They came 15 minutes early and looked around to see what order they needed to pack their truck. The three guys were friendly and professional. They had our whole place packed in an hour. They were very fast with the unloading as well. Our items were handled with care and everything was set up to our satisfaction. Even in the rain everything was moved quickly and without damage. read more

When performing an estimate, Chris (boss at Armour Bearer) had the tact to come by and assess (in person) what needed to be moved. That spoke volumes about his commitment to the job and blew the online assessors out of the water. His estimate was far better than the competitor's too! On the day of the move, I had forgotten that my destination apartment was an additional floor up (3rd story , not 2nd)... which is a big deal when moving! No problem, Armour Bearer accommodated and adjusted the price reasonably (they had to hire 3 additional guys who met the truck at the destination). I moved from Greensboro to Durham. It was the move from hell, but Armour Bearer made it accomplishable! My wife and I both were 100% satisfied with the work Armour Bearer performed. I would recommend them to my own mama! read more

Showed up, carefully moved all our classroom items to and from the truck, did not complain about a few steps on a HOT day. What more could we ask of movers? We would use them again and we recommend them as value-for-your-$$. Thank you Chris and guys! read more

These folks were the absolute best. Chris's crew showed up right on time (and early on a Sunday morning, too), were cheerful, friendly, and professional, took great care with our stuff, and got done early and under budget (and they were already the best quote we had). They were able to make suggestions on how to best fit our furniture into our new house (we are not spatially inclined). They were simply fantastic and we would not hesitated to hire them again. read more

Wow! These guys were the nicest, fastest movers. These guys were strong too! Great attitude and very polite. Great experience! Thank you!!

We had 3 companies quote on moving my home contents. These guys provided a fast, credible response and seemed to know what they were doing. They arrived on time, worked hard and were careful with our things. There were a few scratches and scuffs, as you'd expect, but nothing which made me regret the decision to go with them - I'd use them again. read more

Very professional moving group who treated our furniture like it was their own. Also moved our boxes with great care. We were completely satisfied with the move. read more

I hired this company to help me pack and load my belongings into a truck. Being 8 MONTHS PREGNANT and by myself, there was no way I was going to be able to do all of it on my own. I initially spoke with Chris, who was very nice and accommodating to the day and time I needed help. In order to save money, I provided boxes, tape, packing paper, and blankets myself. The movers arrived on time. They began packing while I went and got the truck and some water to provide them with. There were 5 movers. They were mostly polite and respectful, with the exception of one of them hitting on me and making suggestive comments to me the whole time and asking personal questions and then tried to get my number. To make it even worse, he was married.. I had noticed the ring on his ring finger before he put gloves on to pack. Two of the movers had to leave early, which I thought would be fine, but then the others ultimately left without completing the job, leaving me to fend for myself. I told them that I needed help with packing and loading everything with the exception of the bathroom, which I would do myself. Toward the end before they left, they continued to ask me if there was anything else they needed to pack and I kept showing them, they'd pack one more thing, and ask me again. This went on for a while until they left to do another job. There were still many things unpacked and I literally had no one else to help me and I tried for hours to finish myself but just ended up injuring my back in the process. I stayed until midnight, drove back home an hour away to stay with my parents, and had to go back the next morning with my dad, who took off work to help me finish packing and loading everything. The whole point of hiring the company was so I didn't have to pack and load and hurt myself, but I ended up doing so anyway. I paid them for the time they were there. I would have paid them more for them to stay and finish the job. The price was reasonable and I even somehow left a tip, which I completely regretted the next day when unloading my belongings to find many damaged items. They did not use the packing paper I provided to pack delicate things. They literally just packed the paper into a box. As a result, there were many broken dishes. And they didn't use any blankets that I provided. My bedroom vanity mirror was completely broken off with the wooden posts of the table it was attached to. This whole moving experience was extremely stressful and I don't know what I would have done if my dad didn't take off work to help me, because I had to be out of there by the end of that day since my lease was up. The men I hired to help me unloaded the truck into my new apartment were impeccable. They were extremely fast and efficient and respectful and wouldn't let me do anything since I'm pregnant. I wish I would have saved that tip money and given more tip to the movers that unloaded than the former. read more

I enjoyed these guys a lot. Fast, efficient, careful, and reasonably priced. I was moving a one bedroom single person's amount of stuff from a storage unit to a third floor apartment the next town over (45 minute drive). With three guys and no elevator they did it in 2 hrs exactly. My only complaint is they left one small item which in their defense could have easily been missed and I didn't double check for it. But they were very apologetic and acted professionally and fixed the mistake to my standards. Definitely recommend them and will be using their services again. read more

They were on time, very polite and helpful. An excellent service at a good price. Definitely a company to work again.

Excellent, friendly and professional service from the three guys that moved my office from start to finish. My move had a lot of moving parts with multiple pick-up and drop-off locations. The guys worked efficiently and the price came in as expected. I am very pleased with the service and will use them for my next move. read more

We used these guys for our move and they were fantastic. Chris did a walkthrough of our old home and gave us a quote that was spot on once they were through. The guys were fast, efficient and friendly and took great care of our stuff. I would use them again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to anyone I know that is moving. read more

I've used a lot of movers over the years and I have never had an experience worth reviewing, until now. These guys were hands down the best I've ever used. I'm a nervous mover and have had a lot of my belongings damaged by careless movers. These guys were careful, extremely efficient and right on time. I can't say enough good things about Armor Bearer, they were fantastic! read more

These guys were great! Reasonable prices, and although paid by the hour, they didn't move like it. Chris came by to give an estimate and talk everything over. I knew exactly what everything would cost up front. Come moving day, everyone was efficient, but very nice an amenable at the same time. By the end of the day, we were all kidding around with each other, but they never stopped working. After this move, I plan for my next one to be 6 feet under. But if... IF I needed a mover for anything, I would not hesitate to call these guys. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Excellent moving service. They helped my wife and I unload an ABF U-Pack trailer after relocating to Greensboro from California. They showed up on time, were pleasant and professional. Came out early on a Saturday which was a bonus. Highly recommended. read more

Chris and his team's of movers are outstanding! I used them twice in 9 months. Once to move out of my large home in Asheboro to a rental unit we lived in while waiting for our new home to built and then they moved us in to our new home. They were professional, very careful, extremely considerate and did a wonderful job both times. We were extremely pleased. I highly recommend armor bearer movers. Oh, and their prices are very reasonable. A great experience. read more

I've used Armor Bearer Movers for 2 different in-town moves. They are professional, kind, honest, and easy to work with. Can't recommend them highly enough. read more

This is our second time moving with Chris and team at Armour Bearer. Both sets of men we've had were efficient and hard working. They set to it and moved our entire home well within the quoted time span. They treated our furniture with respect and we received nothing back with scuffs or breaks. The quotes are always spot on with both time and money and both times we've used them we've gotten a lower price because they worked hard to move quickly. They are a charming and professional group and Chris is by far the best in his business. We would highly recommend these fellows and will absolutely use them again when we move into our vacation home. Don't go with a discount moving company or a "little" guys. They will always do you wrong, but Chris will be honest and the men he employs to move your life will treat you like family every time. read more

AJ and Derrick from Armorbearer helped us move and were great! They were punctual and efficient and quickly moved our furniture into storage. They took great care of our stuff as they moved it and were friendly and professional. They definitely eased the stress of moving. We were also really pleased with the customer service over the phone, and felt that the rates quoted were reasonable compared to other moving companies. We definitely recommend them! read more

These guys are just really good. There's a reason I've used them three times now. They always arrive on time, are meticulous with your belongings, are courteous, and the quoted rate was what was charged. With a multi-stop move (including a one hour drive for relocation and having to move some large items multiple times), a lot of things could have gone wrong, but it was smooth sailing the whole time. Thanks for making a stressful situation as easy as possible! I will definitely call again! read more

I've used Armor Bearer for two personal moves here in Greensboro and one move for a company I worked for. These guys were professional, on time and careful with my property. Their price couldn't be beat and the fact that they handled the job with care and courtesy made me feel that I got a heck of a deal. I would highly recommend them in the future. read more
