Dr. Jiao examined him, and while we were waiting for lab results in the sitting area, Mr. P suddenly went limp and stopped breathing in my arms. Dr. Jiao immediately performed chest compressions and successfully revived him. As I type this, we're still not sure if Mr. P will make it through, he's in critical condition, and the next 24 hours will be telling. I just wanted everyone to know how incredible Dr. Jiao is. His quick action and expertise saved our little guy today.

I brought my cat Valentine there and he pooped in his carrier on way there and she and her staff knew that. They made me wait 20 minutes meanwhile he was sitting in his poop the entire time and when I complained that he needed to be washed the vet asst took him and refused to even use soap to wash his behind and I stood at the doorway and asked if she could shampoo him and she slammed the door in my face. And believe me I was asking nicely until the slamming. I told Dr. Williman about the incident and she said we have a policy that customers don't watch while pets get washed. Policy?? Are you freaking kidding me?? All I wanted was for her to use soap. I ended up having to give him a bath when I got home. Dr. Willimann likes to give herself airs of being this cozy country vet meanwhile she neglects immediate needs of the owners and pets. She also kept giving Holly the allergy shots and two expert vets told me that's not good for the cat.

From the very beginning, about five years ago, I was impressed by the caring, loving way that my boy and I were treated. No matter how many times I brought him there, everything was explained gently and thoroughly. Munchkin was 16 years old. I could see severe changes in him. He lost interest in walking the neighborhood, he lost weight, stopped eating and drinking. I knew that his time had come. The procedure was humane and compassionate and although my heart was shattered, I knew that I was doing what was best for my boy. Dr. Tarasoff was wonderful. She said all the right things and made it as easy as possible for me. Yesterday, I received a handwritten card from Dr. Tarasoff and her staff. Enclosed was a clipping of Munchkin's hair and a paw print. It was so kind and thoughtful and I will treasure it always. I highly recommend the Animal Hospital of White Plains. Made the appointment and all went well. No definitive diagnosis but a course of action had been implemented. About 6 weeks later I received an email describing symptoms for canine osteoarthritis. I made a call to discuss these symptoms which my dog was presenting. A week went by and no call. Bond Vet Rye Brook had just opened so I figured I would give them a shot. The staff was great. The vet Dr. Devery was very patient and thorough. We decided to continue with the anti inflammatory as well as pain killers for a short time. Last week was the end of the drugs and a call was made to discuss further treatment if necessary. Today I met with Dr Williams who also took time to check out my girl and it was decided since she has shown signs of improvement the best course of action was to maintain limited activity and make sure she stays comfortable. The whole experience was stress free. Got to say currently I am happy with them let's see if this will be a long happy relationship.
