I'm extremely disappointed with my experience trying to get my father a follow-up appointment with…read moreDr. Roma R. Patel's office in Santa Ana. My father recently had his foot amputated, and because of the risk of infection after something this serious, I have been trying to schedule a follow-up with infectious disease. I called the office on August 13, August 14, and August 19. Each time I was told someone would call me back--either within 24 hours or by the end of the day--to schedule the appointment. No one ever did. On my last call, I asked for the receptionist's name and was told her name was Kim. Again, I was told I would receive a call back, and again, nothing. I don't know if Dr. Patel is no longer with the group, if they are not accepting my father as a patient, or what the situation is. What is upsetting is that nobody has simply explained what is going on. When someone has just gone through an amputation and the family is trying to stay on top of possible infections, getting a follow-up appointment should not be this difficult. This has been very concerning and honestly very sad to deal with. Families are already going through enough when a loved one has a major medical issue. Having to repeatedly call a doctor's office and still not get a response makes an already stressful situation even worse. I hope the office improves its communication, because other patients and families dealing with serious medical conditions should not have to go through this.

This office should really be avoided ! I still can't believe my experience here, I will start by…read moresaying the lady in the front office named Kim is extremely unprofessional and rude. From the minute you walk in the energy is negative. They don't greet you and if you have negative side effects to medication Dr Chahal will wait over a week to get back to you and she even will tell you she will call you but won't call you. You will also set an appointment and they will cancel it last minute. And if you don't want to be a patient there anymore, they ignore your calls and won't send you your records and if they do, it takes a month to get records and when they finally sent them, they were blank. Also, I originally made my appointment for Dr. T and when I got there, it was for Dr. Chahal and it's been a terrible experience. Please look for a different location
