Arrived at 12:37, Sign says Closed til 1:30. Appears they are likely closed 12:30-1:30. Came Monday during my lunch break but unfortunately it's closed for lunch. I've been here before and service was good read more

Had quite an awkward experience here on a Monday morning. I usually come here every two months, for the past 14 years because that's when my bin at home gets full. I always receive about the same amount of $$. But for some reason today, it was 50% less than what I usually receive. Unless prices changed? I didn't bother to say anything because the staff looked like he didn't want to be there. At first I didn't think he worked there because he sat in his car for awhile and I was waiting for someone to help weigh my bottles. ‍ read more

I've been going here for a long time since I am a resident in diamond bar for over 20 years. For some strange reason, the amount I've got for recycling my bottles and cans, I received so little compared to last year. Please be honest unless you will lose steady customers! read more

i have never been back due to the abuse i put up with from not only the EMPLOYEE but a customer even yelled at me and called a white supremacist bitch and when I called the own to report it to him...the customer called him and told him that the police showed up (which was a lie) NO POLICE REPORTED WAS MADE. and there was all kinds of witness that saw what happened...the crazy thing is NOTHING HAPPEN..and there was not any customer around. Only my car and his SUV with his wife. I was treaded rude by the employee that was working and then when I was leaving a looked to see if the employee was helping him with his can (which he was) and then the customer told me to stop looking at him and called me a white supremacist bitch but when I pulled my car back around the ask him that the hell is you problem he would not even look at me...So if you go back do it at your own risk cause the owner would not even do anything about it. BOTTOM LINE IS THE OWN SHOULD HAVE FOLLOWED UP WITH THE POLICE.... read more

Don't bother going anywhere close to closing time. I went 45 min before closing and they refused to take my recycling and said they were closed. The door was open but the scale and baskets were already put away and I assume they were not going to bring them out again. I've heard of this happening to others as well. And they also tend to do this thing where they weigh the baskets so quickly that the scale can't get up to the full weight. So they put the basket on the scale for a half a second and then remove it before the scale can fully weigh the recycling. I would always end up with 20% less money than the nearby recycling center, for the same amount of cans. But I would still go there sometimes because of the hours, but you can't trust that either, so there is really no upside to going there. read more

I like this location because it has shade. Typically I go Sundays. Lot is clean. Sometimes there's a line, probably because I come closer to closing, but overall good experiences read more

Maybe I should try the center on Colima. Went there twice today (9/16 - 10:30 and 11:30) - no customers also no employee. I figured the employee was getting cash; nope, only when I was near the weighing machine did a did come out of his truck nearby. Most of the employees that worked here could carry a conversation, not this kid as I don't believe he attended school past the 3rd grade. Stone cold faced (both times). When there are no customers find something to do besides sit in your truck - it's not that hot. Don't expect to get paid overtime to do the work that should have been done while sitting in the truck. read more

Not sure if I would return. When I went one early Sunday morning, there was an Asian non-employee sitting there smoking cigarettes and armchair quarterbacking everything. He felt like he needed to make a comment on everything too. He knew the employees, but wasn't there actually working-- not too great for the business model. Actual employees there were polite and very helpful. They weighed and paid me for all my recyclables. I felt really short changed however, after i was only given $23 and some change for 5 large bags with mostly aluminum read more

I got there around 4:35 and the person working wouldn't take my cans, another person came as I was leaving and was also rejected.

Good schedule 7 days a week, guys work there are fast. Only and biggest negative is their containers are small necks, tuff to put your plastic bottle in it with out falling out on the ground! read more

The Asian dude Robert (I think his name was), is helpful and friendly to all customers, but management can do better with materials and containers; it looks run-down even for a recycling center and there is no compactor. read more

This business used to have great workers. Now, there is an African American man with attitude. When I went today, total amount was $17.80 and he just gave me $17 without any explanation. I wouldn't care about 80 cents, I could just given him $5 as a holiday gift, but he was too rude. read more

Feels good to recycle plastics, bottles and cans. Came in early 9:00 am to avoid the heat. Was greeted and promptly helped. The young man was knowledgeable and friendly. This was my first time visiting this recycling center and I will recommend it to all looking for a friendly place to make the planet a better place. read more

Guy working there was very friendly and helpful. Guy everything sorted quickly. He paid cash on the spot. Parking is good. Wasn't too busy, but definitely people use this place. read more

This is the most convenient location to recycle for me. Each experience is difference based on the individual working.today, Matthew was working and I was beyond impressed. This is the first time I experienced someone at that location so helpful and polite. 10/10 to Matthew. read more

Every time I come, I usually have around the same amount of bottles. The first time I came, I got around $17-18. The second time I got around the same amount and both times, the same guy with long hair was working. Then I came one day and a different guy was working. That day I was given $29 for the SAME amount of bottles I was given $17 for. So I went today and the guy weigh the long hair was working and I was given $17......... WTF!! Is he pocketing part of my payout or what? Don't come here read more

This is the best recycling spot in diamond bar my friends. Friendly and easy access make him my one stop shop for my goods. Highly recommend

Went to this recycling center today. It is in H-Mart plaza and is located in the back. Met James and he helped us out today. He was very patient and kind to us. He is very organized and quick at what he is doing and his service was on point. Glad he helped us out today since we had a huge load of recyclables. A+ to James. read more

The worker James is very helpful the two ladies before me had plastic and cans all mixed together several bags he quickly by himself separated into the baskets then showed them the weight . So no funny business goes on you get the correct weight James even rounded up the pay out for the ladies so you leave Happy. It's a small thing but when you leave Happy you will return. This location is in the shade that's a great thing I'm sure you waited in line at other locations in the sun on the sticky pavement from the previous people carelessly. This location is very clean. Very important is your Time Cash Is given to you right there No going inside the supermarket waiting in line for your Cash. read more

I never knock anyone for the job that they have but the dude that works here must hate his job. Doesn't say a word and just has a prissy attitude. Even my 6 year old daughter noticed it. She says if you talk a lot you like your job. He didn't say a word and she said he has bad customer service. read more

Very convenient and easy. Didn't have to drive across town and fight with long lines. Good hours.

This recycling center is great! I got the best price payout for my recyclables and the staff is very nice. The young gentleman that owns the spot is very nice as well. He will go out of his way to accomedate your every need. Thumbs up! read more

Great place to recycle, always open when I need them and the main employee, Arman, makes things very easy!

This is such a great place, employees are helpful and kind. 10/10 would recommend, I tell everyone I know to come here.

Terrible service. We were cussed at and given attitude just for having a lot of bottles. Do NOT go here.

I had a lot of bottles at home so I decided to bring it to a local recycling place and tried Armbar Recycling Center out. The employee that helped me was very helpful and gave me great info next time I come back to recycle. I highly recommend this place if you are planning to recycle! read more

It's a recycling business I don't expect Customer Service to be like what I would expect at the four seasons or some other fine establishment. these guys are hard-working and just as everyone else expects to be treated with respect- they've always done that to everyone I've seen them serve. it's just that some customers don't seem to appreciate being told to wait their turn or anything else for that matter. Now I admit, you may not always get a conversation with these guys if you don't talk to them or initiate one but they're always willing to converse if you're someone that's reasonable, respectable, not have an air of superiority (stuck up),and have something legitimate to say- besides a complaint. sorry that you guys experience weren't as mine have been. as a resident here for 20 years in diamond bar, and as long as they've been here I've never had any complaints. I've gone to other recycling centers in diamond bar and they all seem to be the same guys are serious and not necessarily there to joke. it's a dirty business and they're trying to do the best they can so go there and enjoy the recycling center for all that it's worth. read more

A very honest, diligent, kind and hard working guy from this center helped me organizing and loading bottles. Clean environment and fast processing. read more

I guess the experience depends on who is working at the time. I called first to make sure they were open and when I went in with 10 full trash bags of pre-sorted recycling, there was a younger guy working that was completely cool with helping me out with it all. I had 6 bags of semi-crumpled cans and 4 bags of semi-crumpled plastic bottles, we emptied them in the containers and he weighed everything quickly and in sight. I was in and out in 10 minutes and got $41 for everything. read more
