I am very bothered that I have to revise this review. My original review was written the day after…read moreI got my hair done. I should have waited. Yes, braids have fallen out. My hair has come outside of like 8 or 9 braids. Those I could reach I took out and did over. I hadn't had my hair braided in over 20yrs so I was excited she could braid the short areas. Crazy thing is, the braids that slipped out didn't come from those areas. In my opinion she uses too much hair. It's why they slip. I have no explanation or understanding as to why my own hair is coming out of the braids (unraveling) that's never happened. I should also have mentioned she works out of her apartment. There will be constant disruptions, people face timing just to sit and watch you and she will not clean her bathroom or home to make it presentable. You will be forced to listen to gospel music on blast (I'm learning those are the biggest hypocrites) and I apologize, but she is absolutely NOT worth what she charge. The experience alone is you taking an L. I have issues with people that have the government paying their rent while there are people on the list for years waiting and she's defrauding them by running an entire business out of her home (for the last 4yrs) and them thinking she's unemployed. Smh... Anyway, I went to her based on the "raving" Google reviews and I came here and "raved" and now I have to give you the aftermath. The truth is, she's basic and you can go anywhere to get slipping braids and your own hair coming out of the braided hair. I will now pay for the professionalism alone. Trust.

They charge between 160 to 300 for work that looks as though a 12 year old has been playing in your hair 3 nights before. Their senegalese twists look like a nightmare. The micronbraids looks awful on majority of their customers ,including me. I was charged 180.00 for a bad hair day. A 20 year old college student re-braided my hair for $50.00 . It looks excellent compared to these rip-off professional braiders here at Jeannine. They charge too way too much money for working out of the house.
