I am slowly replacing items we lost in the Eaton fire, and not only did I find some nice jewelry pieces, they had a lovely vintage Hawaiian dress that brought back a flood of nostalgic memories. On top of that, J and R were so kind and gave me some items to help us on our rebuilding journey. They showed remarkable kindness and warmth to a random customer, and they really were a highlight of my week! They took time out of their day to listen and make recommendations, and their store is a real oasis of treasures and positivity. It's well with everyone's time to stop by, check their stock and support a local business!

It appears that Atomic Threshold does not respond to their customers concerns…read more   We bought a dining room table and four chairs several years ago from Atomic Threshold.  The set was used about a dozen times as we rarely entertain.  We recently moved and started to use the set again.  One of the chair legs broke horizontally just below the seat.  We called Christian Boehr in May 2020, explained the break and asked if the chair could be repaired or replaced.  He asked us to send a photo of the chair and the break, which we did.  We called, texted and emailed and never heard back.  We were surprised to be "ghosted".

Michael graciously helped us restore a solid wood table that had a ton of "potential". In very…read morelittle time he hauled the table away, did his magic, and returned the following week with the most beautifully restored inlayed table. All of the wood grain shined to it's maximum potential and the inlay popped. It went from rags to riches in no time flat. He also paid close attention to other furniture we had laying about and touched up nearly every piece of wood furniture we had. We greatly appreciate Michael's work ethic and the quality of his trade. I would recommend him to anyone looking to bring any piece of quality furniture back from the dead.

It felt super dismissive like we were not worth the time. Cut us off really quick and walked away talking over their shoulder like we did not deserve being spoken to face to face saying you can come back tomorrow. I understand they closed 7 minutes before we got there. It's just a bit jarring to be blown off as a customer. Finishing a conversation face to face with someone who wants to support your business seems like the least a business can do when they have a lit up open sign and open doors. I don't think we'll be back, not a particularly welcoming vibe.

The parking lot is currently under construction so the main entrance is now on Whittier Blvd. Upon entering I felt like I was in another world. This is not only a vintage mall but more like an experience. The vendors have done an amazing job at their spaces. I seriously would love to move into one of those beautiful spaces lol. I purchased a bracelet for $10 and almost purchased a $150 Dior bag. There is only one check out area and it's near the soda machine. They also offer orange or melon Ole Slushies. If you get hungry on your exploration you can purchase some bite snacks as well. Honestly, with 4 floors of goodies I couldn't see everything. This is a multiple visit adventure!
