When we tried to contact them to fix it, Michael R. Gilbrand told us to basically take a hike, and that he wasn't going g to fix it, and that if we touched it he would repo the car. He cant touch the car. We have made, and we make every payment. Michael R. Gilbrath finally had us bring it in. This time his mechanic installed 2 units, and left one hanging on the ground. It has since fallen off. At this point, we will likely sue big 7 for selling a lemon, maybe damages. Just depends on how many process servers get sent, and how much more work is missed because of Michael R. Gilbreath. ​if you need a car and you are broke. Ask people from dickinson about this trash. Michael R Gilbreath and his Dad Carl have a LONG history of ripping g people off in Dickinson. Ask around about them. If you really need a car, drive 15 more minutes to Clear Lake Autos. You will pay more, and they are more strict on credit, but they will sell you a good car, not one they knowing only going to run until you get it home.

Pete, the Owner is very knowledgeable & very trustworthy that is rare in the Auto Mechanic Shop World today that has values in which shows on how he values his Customers! He's a great listener & applies your auto problems discription in your itnitial communication to help get the diagnosis right( the 1st time).. His shop hasn't given me a wrong diagnosed ever! I have learned that other auto Mechanical Shops in the area are in this business for gain & not caring to get a repeat customer back after ripping that customer off the first time... And, have mistreated their customers in order to make a quick buck, not with Pete! His shop is family Owned & his Dad is an old school Mechanic that is great & his mark is shown in Pete's character in which is very rare these days in trusting certain Business. During the Virus Pandemic they are very careful & respecful in handling your vehicle! Don't waste your time going to this place. Called and made an appointment to be there at 9am for…read morethem to check my car out. They told me they could check it while I wait. Got there and was then told they don't remember speaking to me even though I had it right it my call records that I spoke to them. Then proceeded to tell me I'd need to leave the car for 3 hours to be checked. Took time off work to go get this done and now have wasted a day. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND this place!
