Hi everyone,…read more Unfortunately, I have had the occasion to visit Chisholm Trail Orthopedics two times in the past couple of weeks. I say unfortunately only because no one wants to be sick! I have to say, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. The facility is very nice and absolutely spotless! It runs like a well oiled machine! They take you in at the appointed time. They gather whatever info you need and bam the doctor or nurse practitioner is in to see you. The care is excellent and all of the staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend them if you need orthopedic care. Jim

Myself and my wife went to Chisholm Trail Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and what happened there…read morestill has me in shock . I won't mention the Doctors name but what I'm about to say is true . My wife went there for an issue with her foot that needed attention , when to Female Doctor came into the examination room she never looked at me or greeted me ( my wife is white and I am African American) she proceeded to greet my wife and totally ignored me . Later on in the conversation with my wife she recommended a medication for her to take , I inquired whether if she needs to rest her foot more that usual for the medication to work better because she will be on her feet at work. The Doctor now looks at me for the first time and says this " I am afraid " , I was puzzled by that response so I said " what " , she then said it again . She then never answered my question and proceeded to ignore me and finished what she was doing and left . To this day I don't know what she was afraid of because she never said and it's completely baffling. As a US Army veteran and a retired person , I have informed veteran organizations of this experience with this outfit and informed friends not to deal with these people. Thank you for your time if you are reading this .

I cannot express enough how incredibly frustrating and disappointing our experience with Arlington…read moreOrthopedics has been. The only positive thing I can say about this practice is that Dr. Rodriguez is an absolutely amazing doctor. He is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely great at what he does. Unfortunately, the staff and care team surrounding him have made this one of the worst experiences we have EVER had with a medical provider. The level of disorganization, lack of communication, and complete disregard for patient needs is honestly unacceptable. Orders are repeatedly sent to the wrong locations, prescription orders are never sent as they should be, and trying to get anyone to correct these issues or provide even the most basic assistance is nearly impossible. These are not minor inconveniences. These are issues that directly impact a patient's ability to receive timely and appropriate medical care. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone. The care team line goes straight to voicemail, only for you to be told that the mailbox is full. When you attempt to call the main office for assistance, you are either hung up on or transferred right back to the same care team line that DOES NOT WORK. It is a never-ending cycle of being passed around with absolutely no resolution, accountability, or concern for the patient. What makes this experience even more upsetting is the complete lack of patient-focused care. There is no sense of urgency, no attention to detail, no willingness to help, and seemingly no understanding that patients are relying on this office to coordinate important aspects of their medical treatment. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase down prescriptions, track down orders, or practically beg someone to answer the phone and do their job. This is, without question, the worst experience we have ever had with a medical provider's staff. It is incredibly unfortunate because Dr. Rodriguez truly deserves better representation from the team supporting him. A great physician can only do so much when the people responsible for coordinating patient care consistently fail to follow through. No matter how wonderful a doctor may be, it is simply not worth being treated this poorly or having to fight this hard to receive basic medical assistance. I sincerely hope Dr. Rodriguez and the leadership at Arlington Orthopedics take these concerns seriously because the current level of service is unacceptable. Patients deserve to be heard, respected, and supported throughout their care, not ignored, dismissed, or left without answers. Dr. Rodriguez deserves five stars. Unfortunately, the experience with his staff and care team makes it incredibly difficult to recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Blueitt was our doctor for my shin stress fracture. His bedside manner is decent, pretty…read morethorough, a bit serious, but hey, as long as the doctor is thorough and knowledgeable, that's what matters. He ordered an MRI since I'm a competitive athlete and needed to know the extent of the injury. Then his assistant called me with "results" that were very vague; I had questions she couldn't answer, and they don't do "follow-ups" to go over results. What? I had to request the follow-up by complaining, then they finally got me in. During the follow-up, he explained the extent of the injury and what it meant (how long I would have to offload, physical therapy, etc.). He stated his team would get back to me immediately to refer me to a physical therapy/rehab place he recommended. Well, that call never came. It's been 2 months, and they never followed through, not even to see how I was doing- nothing. I moved from out of state, and the doctors I had in high school and college always followed through with PT and checked in to see how the injured patient/athlete was doing. Zilch. Needless to say, we switched providers to a completely different group in Fort Worth. What a difference! I would never come back here again; so disappointing. I was in so much pain; I expected such a large office that bills so much to insurance to do their job. Maybe they are not very passionate about their careers, but it all comes down to the staff/people you hire and how they are trained. Dr. Blueitt is equally responsible for not following through. Oh, and he lied to us and said he had tried to call our phone numbers- total lie. We answer our phone all the time and had no missed calls after the MRI, which is when we complained that no one called to go over the results, since it was indeed a stress fracture. Avoid this place like the plague if you want thorough, professional care.
