The receptionist was so kind and nice and Dr. Gupta was warm and thorough. While I was only there for a prescription refill, he made sure that I had no other issues that I was concerned about. As a nurse, I see doctors all day, and you can tell when one genuinely loves what he does and cares about the well-being of his patients--I would recommend Dr. Gupta to my friends and family!

I know it is difficult to find a good primary care doctor but Dr. Kannan is particularly awful. I…read morewent to see her during a very distressing time in my life a little over a year ago, and when I told her my situation she literally said to me, "I have nothing for you." For whatever reason, probably because I was so distressed, I saw her two more times even though she repeated those cold words. The last time I saw her I had had bloodwork done and my chloesterol levels were alarmingly high and had gone up a shocking amount in very little time. She didn't even have the bloodwork results for the appointment, which was only intended to check labs. I had to call the results up on my phone. And when the appointment was "over" she was still talking to me but walking down the hallway. I was like, "Are we done?" Then I got a notice from LabCorps that my doctor had scheduled new bloodwork for me and I called the office to ask when I should recheck. Never got a call back. They also billed me in full, without running the visit through my insurance. I was to pay $348 for that stellar experience. They finally did run it through my insurance and the bill was reduced and I paid it and decided I will never go back there again. I have since seen a new PCP who is very impressive and my bloodwork returned with everything in the normal range, thank goodness!

Have had good experiences here. Dr. Kevess-Cohen was on my hospitalization network. I chose her…read morebecause she's an Internist. Recently learned from their website that she is a geriatric physician as well. I always encourage people to have a geriatric doctor for loved ones. It's specialized experience that is a must. You're assisting someone of advanced age. It's hard enough to make decisions for yourself, that much harder for someone else. Geriatric doctors are seasoned in the ways of an aging patient. The Cameron Medical Group location is good. Only a front parking lot like in a shopping center would be better, but this location is next best, in the heart of downtown Silver Spring. Street level parking opens up, drive around the block and you'll find something, or use county parking just there. It's a hilly walk from Metro, one block over, but there's the freebie bus that goes to the side of the building, on Cameron (think Silver Spring Diner). Building has an elevator, and the Cameron's Group office is pleasant. One day a week, CMG has hours until seven p.m. which is incredibly convenient--means not having to take leave from work. Some people don't have ability to take leave--it's costly even if you do. Extended hours are appreciated, it's a fine benchmark for this Group. With their website, one can access needed forms. My forms were mailed to me ahead of time. I appreciate having enough time to complete forms thoroughly. Office staff has computer skill to allow for helpful email appointment reminders. Techs in this office are very nice. Remember that CMG does not take checks, it's cash or debit. Only negative for me is a too-high, too uncomfortable chair for blood draw. Simply does not work for me, tried it twice, twice a fail, the chair height and type is not for me.

From the first meeting I had with Dr. Possner, I knew things would be vastly different and that I had found someone that would have a profound impact on my health. My first appointment was the longest time I had ever spent with a doctor. My appointment was 2 hours and Dr. Possner had fully reviewed my medical records and engaged me in thoughtful conversation about my medical history. I left my initial appointment with a feeling of empowerment over my health that I had never really felt before. Little did I know that the impact of having Dr. Possner as my doctor would happen so quickly. I was on vacation and had an acute UTI. It was after business hours, but I was able to call the office and get the on call doctor that happen to be Dr. Possner. I walked him through my symptoms and he immediately called in a prescription for me. Because he had such knowledge of my history it was easy for us to communicate and talk through my symptoms. He checked on me via email through the client portal several times over the next couple of days to ensure I was ok. The fact that I was in a remote part of a different state and I was able to call and speak with the doctor saved me stress and the hassle of finding an urgent care to go to. He has made several recommendations to other specialists and doctors, all of whom have turned out to be amazing. His referral goes a long way with each specialist I have scheduled an appointment with. I can't recommend Dr. Possner enough; he's a great listener, thoughtful, caring, kind and you can tell he truly loves what he is doing. His follow through is simply amazing.

It's also one of the OneMedical offices with a pediatric practice. So why only 3 stars? The lab, especially on weekends, is a calamity. One time my wife had to wait *an hour* to do a simple lab test. Another time it was an unnecessary wait and hassle just to pick something up from the lab. Honestly, if you anticipate needing lab work on a weekend, you may want to consider another location unless you're out of choices. I'm not sure what's going on as neither of us has ever waited more than a few minutes for the lab at any other location. I shudder to think what it would be like if you had to wait an hour with your sick child. With that caveat, if you don't need lab work on a weekend, I wouldn't hesitate to go to this OneMedical location and expect their usual high quality of service and care.

In general, I like the integration of the app & telehealth with the office and the idea of a more personalized focus on primary care that One Medical provides. Specifically, I like this location where the staff are all very nice and welcoming. It seems like the staff really care about improving health and "taking care" of you. I tried out the Chevy Chase location last year and had a bad experience with a shockingly rude doctor that surprised me. If I went into detail about what happened there, you would be appalled. I've been to the Bethesda location a lot and they have been great every time. If I had only experienced the Chevy Chase location, I would have quit this program but I've been consistently happy with Bethesda. I haven't tried other locations but the model is that they are a different experience than your average primary care medical office. They are very prompt, stylish and offer the choice between in-person services and telehealth. Prior to One Medical, I had a less than stellar experience with a primary care doctor in a different system. When I say that I've been consistently happy with this Bethesda office, I don't say that lightly. It is pleasant and convenient.
