Over the past two years I had the good fortune to encounter Kealoha (the "loved one"). Please excuse the misspelling. She was/is better than any phlebotomist that ever worked for me (many dozens). Even better she easily found the appropriate code numbers for some of my lab requests, e.g., 25(OH)D3, omega index. Furthermore, the lines are always shorter than the adjacent DLS phlebotomy station and they accept the more prevalent DLS requisition forms.

Now the crazy part was the total lack of patient privacy. In a small room Call the patient names loud and talk even louder about the results or if the person needs additional testings... very unprofessional Crowded, long wait, not enough staff, rude people, and no respect.. I made my appointment on their website last night, arrived & the wait time was average. The staff inside & in other suites throughout the building were most pleasant. For someone with a dramatically awful lifetime of passing out during bloodwork & having pain & hostile phlebotomists in clinics & hospitals, this was, hands down, the easiest bloodwork experience of my life. During my former experience on King's Highway, the worker took a PAINFULLY long time, all puns intended (felt like I was giving my entire body's worth of blood; what the heck?!). Here, I didn't even recognize the feeling on my arm & by the time that feeling was over, so was the bloodwork. Finished in record timing. Lovely considering my fear of needles. Go here for your medical tests, then treat yourself across the street. Highly recommended for an experience that I can't stand. P.S. Bummer that I have a tiny bruise on the site of needle. I would never have expected that 4 hours later considering my glowing review...... Bruise Iris still there 24+ hours later. Never happened before in my life though I'm aware it happens to some people. Just praying to God that I will be needle free for the next few years.

There is no one to supervise or help.
