They send me pictures daily, get back to me in a timely manner with any and all communication and most of all my son loves it. Picture below for reference.

EDIT to reply: *Thank you for confirming much of what I…read moredescribed in my original review. To clarify, our concern was never your safe sleep policies or licensing regulations. Our concern was the expectation that a 7-month-old consistently adapt to a lengthy group nap schedule and remain quiet for nearly an entire two-hour rest period when he naturally woke after shorter sleep cycles. As parents, we made extensive efforts to support your classroom environment and implemented every strategy suggested to us. We adjusted his home schedule, feeding routines, sleep routines, and methods of falling asleep specifically to create consistency with daycare and make things easier for staff. Despite that, it continually felt as though normal infant behavior was being treated as a behavioral problem rather than a developmental stage. I also find it interesting that while stating you value privacy, your response still publicly references alleged gastrointestinal discomfort, feeding concerns, and discussions about our home routines. That only reinforces why I intentionally kept my original review general. I completely understand that group care may not be the right fit for every infant at every stage. My review was simply intended to help other parents understand that this program may not work best for babies.* I'm really disappointed to be writing this, but I feel parents of babies under 2 should be aware of our experience. As a prior daycare/childcare professional and a parent, I would not recommend this center for babies who don't comply with strict schedules. We enrolled our infant son here because initially we liked the environment. Unfortunately, we ran into ongoing concerns about how sleep was being handled, which ultimately led to us pulling him out. Our son has consistently taken short naps (around 30-45 minutes) since birth, which is developmentally normal for many infants. However, staff began sending him home early if he did not nap for at least an hour. This "one-hour nap" expectation appeared to be a requirement they set themselves, rather than something based on his individual needs. They did come out with various "sleep plans" but it felt like the goal post was always moving and they were never satisfied with the progress he made. It also became clear that a major concern from staff was that our 7 month old was not able to follow or adhere to "quiet time." This was confusing and concerning, as infants at this age are not developmentally capable of understanding or consistently following that type of expectation. At one point, staff described him as "disruptive," which was honestly shocking to hear about a baby. That raised red flags for us about expectations being placed on infants and how their needs are being interpreted. I also want to note that in reading other Yelp reviews, I saw responses from the business that appeared to include detailed context about individual situations, which I do not find appropriate. Because of that, I'm choosing to keep some details general here, as I'm not comfortable having personal information about my child and do not want a response. We understand that caring for multiple infants is challenging, but labeling a baby as disruptive, combined with rigid and unrealistic sleep expectations, made this feel like the wrong environment for our family.

My two boys have been at this center for 10 months. This was their first experience at a daycare/…read moreschool. The transition was emotional and very difficult for all of us. However, the teachers at this Kinder location have been so helpful. The kinder app is updated throughout the day and has eased my stress greatly. I can check in and see what my babies are doing at any time of the day. My kids are so happy at pick up and tell me all of the activities they did for the day. The most important piece for me is that the teachers have been so communicative. They're so attentive to my kids' feelings and growing phases. I have had a great experience with the center's director, Ms. Alyssa as well as the receptionist, Ms. Sarah. Initially I had so many questions. we were new to daycare, new to the area, and we are not from the state. We weren't sure of what we needed to make the transition for our children the smoothest. Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Sarah readily answered all of my random questions and helped us at each step. Lastly, I absolutely love that each month there are fun activities for the kids to participate in; ie, holiday parties, center celebrations, dress up days, Disney days. I would recommend this center to other parents. My babies are safe, happy, and are properly cared for.

I do not recommend this childcare facility to absolutely anyone with small children. Due to our…read moredire need of childcare as full-time working parents, I was desperate to find a local daycare as we are new residents of the city. Our daughters were only enrolled for 4 short months. In those months, we've experienced a poorly ran facility, stressed out "teachers" and child neglect. The 2 year old room consistently smelled like toddler poop from the moment of drop off to the moment of pick up. The teachers are unwelcoming and most seem to have no desire to be there. I would name drop but THEY know who they are. They put on their phone and have all of the little kids surrounding the phone watching CocoMelon. If i wanted my kids on a tablet or a phone, trust me I'd keep them home. I never saw youtube kids under their curriculum schedule. Next time please mention that during the TOUR. Our LAST and FINAL straw at this horrendous facility was when my partner picked up my 4 year old around 445pm. She was sitting, isolated on a chair because she had soiled her clothing during her naptime. Nobody bothered to give us a call and she had woken up from her nap around 2pm so HOURS had passed before we even got to pick her up. The following day when we went to unenroll the girls and talk with the director. She was very rude, unapologetic and kept reiterating that she wasn't there yesterday etc. Surely, they have policies and protocols in place when accidents like this happen. Nobody gave us a courtesy call and ALLL the teachers knew about her accident during nap time. They kept saying they support us and they understand and it was messed up that no one gave us a call and just had my daughter sitting, isolated for hours. Because of this, my child feels humiliated and is ultimately traumatized at the experience and behavior of these adults. I am appalled at the way they treated my child. I emailed corporate about it. I would not recommend this place EVEN if you're desperate. I promise there are better options out there.

The teachers are intentional and thoughtful about what they teach. It is the perfect mix of academics, fine motor skills, and manners. My daughter learned a lot, and I felt like I got to be part of her thriving here. Teacher Marissa, Teacher Brooke, and Director Gloria made a huge impact on our daughter and set the bar very high. I wish she could have stayed there through high school. These educators have hearts of gold. As a first time mom I always wanted to know how her day was going, and they kept me informed so I felt right there with her. I received photos every day and used them as talking points to hear my daughter's perspective on her day. She is now in kindergarten and thriving because this academy invested in her. This was not just a school. It was a community. I recommend Mesa Grande Children's Center to anyone who wants a loving environment, strong structure, and hands on learning for their little ones.

Pros: The teachers. The building, the toys all of the great educational resources. Everything is in great condition and very clean (and you would know, as you clean them yourself!). The moms and the other children you meet. Creative and unique experiences for your children to learn and grow through. They are always having special days and they change the classrooms around throughout the year when focusing on different lessons. They bring new items in and take old ones out so there is always something new for your little one to play with and learn from. I always felt my daughter was safe here, and in good hands - which is priceless. And on that topic, the price is very reasonable! Cons: Their motto is "Learning though Play" and they mean it 100%. So much so, that I'm afraid my daughter played too much and didn't learn enough to prepare her for kindergarten. I do wish they had more instructional time, especially towards the end of the year when most of the children in her class were 5 and capable of sitting still for longer sessions of rug time. Also, the co-op experience is really best suited for stay at home moms. As a working mom, it was difficult to take off two days a month to teach or accompany my daughter on a field trip. But, I knew this going in. Just make sure you really understand the commitment you are signing up for, and prepare to be flexible. In the end, all the extra time and effort is worth it.

( who turns out is not a listed employee of school, despite being on campus consistently) upon submitting our kindergartners 2 week notice (postdated for Dr.Lisa Gilfillan) we were immediately met with texts / messages from both angelina and jaimie pertaining to details stated specifically in notice. all accounts had again since been confirmed as paid and up to date, all bank statements were mailed and received, though just two days prior to our daughters last day with montys we were notified via email that if we did not submit the final payment amounts in cash / in office they would then withhold our daughters kindergarten academic records. following this email i again messaged, emailed and mailed all bank statements and proof of payment from brightwheel to montys academy aswell as dr. lisa gilfillan to which we recieved zero responses. go charter, go homeschool, go elsewhere! entire experience has been rather unfortunate as we had very high hopes for both montys and the staff.
